Overview of the difference between ordinary pressure gauges and diaphragm pressure gauges
Date: 2022-02-02Read: 7
According to different measurement media, different diaphragm and flange materials should be selected to ensure their corrosion resistance. The commonly used diaphragm and flange material is SUS316.
According to different purposes, the sealing working fluid inside the isolation body can be selected. If there are no special requirements, the sanitary pressure gauge can be filled with glycerol aqueous solution.
Measurement range 0.4-2.5 Mpa, please consult with our factory for special requirements.
The measurement accuracy is generally at level 1.6
The sanitary diaphragm gauge head can be selected from two types: liquid filled or non liquid filled, and other models of pressure gauges or pressure transmitters produced by our company can be selected to be matched with the sanitary isolation body.
Ordinary pressure gauges are used to measure the pressure of non corrosive liquids and gases, while diaphragm pressure gauges are generally used for two purposes: 1. measuring pressure in situations where corrosion resistance is required (the measured medium is corrosive, and different corrosive media require different diaphragm materials). 2. food hygiene requirements, as the measured medium does not flow inside the pressure gauge when measuring pressure with ordinary pressure gauges, it is easy to repeatedly contaminate.
The measurement principle of diaphragm pressure gauge is that it adopts an indirect measurement structure. The diaphragm deforms under the pressure of the measured medium, and the sealing liquid is pressurized, forming a pressure equivalent to P, which is transmitted to the pressure instrument and displays the pressure value of the measured medium.
Suitable for measuring the pressure of liquids, gases, or granular solid media with high viscosity, easy crystallization, high corrosiveness, and high temperature. There are various materials for isolation membranes to adapt to different corrosive media.
