Working principle of distiller's grains dryer

The new type of distiller's grains dryer mainly consists of a heat source, a feeding machine, a drying drum, a transmission device, a discharging machine, a induced draft fan, and a distribution cabinet. Wet distiller's grains are fed into the drying drum, which is equipped with multiple spiral shaped plates arranged inside the drum. The plates are continuously lifted by the rotation of the drum, and the striking device on the drum wall prevents the materials from sticking to the drum wall and plates. The lifted materials are fully in contact with the hot air flow introduced by the induced draft system, accelerating the heat and mass transfer of drying, evaporating water, completing drying, and are discharged from the discharge port. The distiller's grains dryer can quickly dehydrate and dry wet distiller's grains with a moisture content of about 65% to a dry product with a moisture content of about 10%, which is used to make high protein feed, achieving mechanization, industrialization, and automation of distiller's grains drying treatment.
