Introduction to High Frequency Screen

High frequency vibrating screen, abbreviated as high-frequency screen, is composed of components such as exciter, slurry distributor, screen frame, frame, suspension spring, and screen mesh. Widely applicable to industries such as mineral processing, coal preparation, chemical industry, brick making, food, pharmaceuticals, alkali production, fertilizers, and papermaking.

High frequency screening has high efficiency, small amplitude, and high screening frequency. Unlike the principle of ordinary screening equipment, high-frequency screening uses high frequency, which on the one hand destroys the tension on the surface of the slurry and the high-speed oscillation of fine particles on the screen surface, accelerates the separation of high-density (specific gravity) useful minerals, and increases the probability of contact between materials smaller than the separated particle size and the sieve holes. As a result, better separation conditions were created, allowing materials with particle sizes smaller than the separation size, especially those with larger proportions, to pass through the sieve holes together with the slurry and become undersized products.
Working principle of high-frequency screen
In the grinding circuit, the grinding products are controlled and graded, and the coarse-grained intergrowth bodies are sieved out, that is, the sieved material is returned to the mill for further grinding. Fine particles, i.e. undersized material, can be promptly discharged to avoid over grinding caused by further grinding. Timely screening of materials that meet the fineness requirements can increase mill output, reduce energy consumption, and improve efficiency. Installing a high-frequency screen in the beneficiation circuit can screen out coarse concentrate and send it to the mill for further grinding, while fine particles can be selected to improve the grade of the concentrate.
