Construction and installation guide for heat shrink tape: 1. Use a cloth to remove the soil from the pipeline connection head and wipe it clean. 2、 Use spray to bake the pipe ports, drive away moisture, and ensure that the pipe end faces are dry. 3、 Two people work together to pull one end of the heat shrink tubing from the bottom to the other side, and center the shrink tubing at the bottom. 4、 Bake the middle of the shrink band until it melts by about 100-150mm, and two people pull it upwards to stick the middle of the shrink band to the bottom of the pipeline.
5、 Heat the middle part of the adhesive layer on one side of the shrink band to melt it, pull it upwards from the bottom of the pipeline, and make one end stick to the upper part of the pipeline.
6、 Heat the middle part of the adhesive layer on the other side of the shrink band to melt it, pull it upwards from the bottom of the pipeline, and make one end stick to the upper part of the pipeline, overlapping with the upper part of the other shrink band. If bubbles or wrinkles appear during the shrinkage process, use a pressure roller to flatten it to eliminate the bubbles. 11、 After the shrinkage is completed, the heat shrink tape and fixing plate should be carefully inspected to ensure that the hot melt adhesive overflows from all sides. If there are defects, they should be heated in a timely manner and flattened with a pressure roller.

There are two methods for rust removal at the mouth of the hot-melt casing: sandblasting and manual electric angle grinder. Sandblasting rust removal is preferred for roads and construction sites with good terrain and easy access to vehicles. Manual electric angle grinder rust removal is used for difficult construction areas. The surface treatment quality of sandblasting rust removal pipe mouth should reach Sa2.5 level in GB8923 "Rust Grades and Preparation Grades of Steel Surfaces before Coating". The quartz sand used for sandblasting and rust removal should be dry, with uniform and impurity free particles, and a particle size between 2mm and 4mm. The working pressure for sandblasting should be between 0.4Mpa-0.6Mpa. Manual electric angle grinder rust removal should reach the standard st3.0 level

Start the air compressor, adjust the air pressure, and open the sand inlet valve to start sandblasting operation. There should be an oil-water filter at the outlet of the air compressor, and the compressor displacement should not be less than 6m3/min.

Pipeline anti-corrosion heat shrink tape is composed of radiation cross-linked polyethylene substrate and special hot melt sealant, which has the function of "shape memory".
