Production of polyethylene anti-corrosion electric melting sleeve
Electric melting sleeve is a connecting component in the construction of thermal pipeline network. After the thermal pipeline is connected, it is professionally designed for anti-corrosion and insulation of the interface. After welding, the electric melting sleeve is tested with closed water to ensure no air leakage, and then filled with the liquid to be foamed. After final solidification, it is completed.
The joint coating of the external anti-corrosion layer of the pipeline is an important part of the anti-corrosion system engineering, and its quality directly affects the anti-corrosion quality of the pipeline. Common methods of joint filling include hot pouring of asphalt, hot baking of asphalt tape, polyethylene adhesive tape, epoxy powder, polyethylene electric melting sleeve, radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat shrink sleeve, composite structure, etc. This paper describes the application scope, advantages and disadvantages of various joint coating methods, as well as the application situation at home and abroad, and discusses that the electrothermal melting sleeve, which correctly selects the joint coating method, is a new type of connecting pipe fitting emerging in the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation industries in recent years. Its anti-aging property, connection strength, ring stiffness, etc. are obviously better than the heat shrinkable belt. In addition, the electrothermal melting sleeve can weld the jacket pipe first, and then polyurethane foam, and its construction speed is also significantly faster than the heat shrinkable belt. Therefore, the electrothermal melting sleeve is widely used for joint coating of thermal pipelines and oil pipelines.

Production of polyethylene anti-corrosion electric melting sleeve
The Chinese name for electric heating melting sleeve material is special electric heating wire mesh, which has a very ideal melting effect. The new generation of electric heating melting sleeve products in China adopts special electric heating wire mesh, and the bonding parts are quite ideal. Its connection strength and sealing effect are very good, making it an updated product of domestic electric heating melting sleeve. Electric melting sleeve is an auxiliary component for connecting PE sheets to jacket pipes through electric melting after bending, covering, and rolling. The melting effect is quite ideal. Specification of electric melting sleeve
The construction process is as follows:
1. Ensure that the epoxy coating on the parts covered by the heat shrink tape at both ends of the weld seam is contaminated, remove rust from the surface of the steel pipe node, and gently polish the polyethylene coating covered by the heat shrink tape with a steel brush,
Make this part of the polyethylene coating have a certain roughness.
2. Use a clean cloth or dry air to blow away the attachments on the steel pipe and polyethylene coating.
3. Preheat the weld seam with a propane spray gun, ensuring that the steel pipe line is wider than the heat shrink zone, and the preheating temperature at the weld seam is 75 degrees Celsius.
4. When installing the heat shrink tape, select the end with the sealing sheet attached, remove the protective liner, and gently heat it up to overlap 150mm
5. Remove the remaining protective pads and wrap the remaining heat shrink tape around the joint. Loosely wrap the heat shrink tape around the pipeline, ensuring appropriate overlap size.
6. Gently heat the backing at the lower overlap and the adhesive at the upper overlap, then overlap the heat shrink tape and press the sealing sheet onto the overlap.
7. Gently heat the sealing sheet and pat it with a gloved hand, repeating this step from one end to the other. Use a roller to roll from the middle to both sides to smooth out the folds of the sealing sheet.
8. Use appropriate flame to heat the middle and surrounding areas, with a longer heating stroke.
During the thermal shrinkage process of the heat shrink belt, continue heating from the middle to one side until the shrinkage is complete.
10. When the adhesive overflows on both sides of the heat shrink tape, the shrinkage is completed, and then the surface of the heat shrink tape is continuously heated to ensure the connection.
11. When the heat shrink belt still has temperature and softness, use a roller to squeeze the heat shrink belt and remove any bubbles. If necessary, reheat it to remove any bubbles.
