Overview: BLQ (X) type fire pump soft start control cabinet is a series of products developed and produced using microprocessor technology and power thyristor technology, combining the characteristics of pumps and fans. Used for soft starting of 50Hz, 380-660V motors, it can replace traditional self coupling voltage reduction starting, Y/△ starting, and other starting methods, greatly improving the starting and stopping characteristics of the motor, and protecting the motor during operation, with a certain energy-saving effect.
※ Working principle
1. The ramp voltage soft start soft starter first applies a voltage of about 140V to the motor to slowly start it. Then gradually increase the voltage linearly according to the set starting time until the rated voltage value, and the motor gradually increases to the rated speed.
2. The soft start scheme under current limitation is used for motor starting when the load is large. The soft starter controls the application of voltage based on the determined current limit. If the voltage exceeds the limit, the voltage will no longer increase. After the current limit signal disappears, the voltage will continue to rise from the stop point until the starting process ends.
※ Function
1. Multi pump soft start function: The programmable controller or industrial automation instrument is used as the main control unit to switch the starting pump to power frequency operation, and then start the remaining pumps one by one according to the instructions.
2. The life (production) control cabinet has manual automatic switching function, fault alarm function, etc.
3. The fire special control cabinet has remote linkage, automatic start of backup pump in case of water pump failure, sound and light alarm in case of failure, automatic switching of dual power supply, and other functions specified in relevant standards.
