Product Details

Purpose and features
Multi purpose vacuum filter is a popular filtration equipment, suitable for use in laboratories and small factories in mineral processing, metallurgy, geology, chemical industry, building materials, petroleum, papermaking, artificial crystals and other departments for product dehydration and solid-liquid phase separation. This machine has reliable quality, beautiful appearance, easy operation, stable performance, high filtration efficiency, and is versatile. Its effect is more significant for the filtration of difficult to filter minerals and low solubility slurry.

Vacuum filter manufacturer laboratory tailings dewatering equipmentIntroduction to Structure and Working Principle
The device mainly consists of a chassis, vacuum pump, filter disk, suction cup, electrical appliances, connecting pipes, etc Two filter disks with different capacities are fixed on top of the chassis, and different amounts of slurry can be directly poured into the corresponding disks for filtration The suction cup is movable and located on the side of the chassis. It is connected to the chassis by a hose and is designed to extract clear water from the upper part of the sediment slurry.

Vacuum filter manufacturer laboratory tailings dewatering equipmentIntroduction to Structure and Working Principle

This device consists of a chassis, a small filter disk, a drainage pipeline, a water replenishment pipeline, a mobile filter disk, electrical appliances, a vacuum pump, a vacuum tank, and other parts.

This device utilizes the negative pressure generated during the operation of a direct coupled suspended duck water ring vacuum pump to extract and filter the slurry, and can continuously extract and discharge the filtered liquid. The vacuum pump is directly driven by a 1.5 kW electric motor, which can generate a negative pressure of 560-650 columns during operation (at an altitude of 0). The filtration system consists of large and small filter discs, exhaust pipes, mobile filter discs, vacuum tanks, and vacuum gauges, which are directly connected to the negative pressure area of the vacuum pump, eliminating the need for a complete set of devices such as gas water separation. The filtrate is directly pumped out by the vacuum pump without stopping the machine, thereby improving filtration efficiency, reducing the number of shutdowns and starts, minimizing malfunctions, and extending the service life of the equipment.

Installation, use, and maintenance

After unpacking the equipment, removePackaging grease, check if all fasteners, instruments, switches, and wiring heads are loose or detached.

Connect the power and ground protection.

Open the valve of the water supply pipeline and continuously supply an appropriate amount of water to the vacuum pump to ensure the formation of a water ring required for vacuum pumping and achieve the purpose of temperature control. To ensure the performance and operation of the pump, it is advisable to run it for no more than 10 minutes each time. If reuse is required, the circulating water must be replaced to ensure that the water temperature does not exceed 30 ℃ (note: if the amount of water added is too small, it will not form a water ring and fail to achieve the calibrated vacuum degree; if the amount of water is too large, it will increase unnecessary water consumption and motor power consumption, and emit harsh noise).

Before driving, open one of the valves on the large and small filter discs or the movable suction filter disc, and close the other two.

Test drive, if there is a screaming sound, you should adjust the water level and add water until there is no screaming sound. Then close the opened filter valve and observe the vacuum gauge pointer. After reaching the calibration value, the machine can be used normally.

When using a fixed filter disc to filter materials, the filter disc should be locked first, and a small amount of water should be used to wet the filter cloth and filter paper placed on the filter plate. Then, the slurry should be poured into the filter disc, and the valve of the filter disc used should be opened to repeatedly or continuously operate normally. If using a mobile suction disc for suction, the filter cloth and filter paper should be attached to the outer suction cup surface, then placed on top of the slurry, and the valve should be opened to extract the clarified water.

To prevent backflow into the vacuum system during shutdown, the valve should be closed first before stopping the pump.

After the work is completed, if it is not used for 1-2 days, the screw plug at the bottom of the pump cover must be opened, the accumulated water in the pump should be drained, and then the pump should be stopped. When using, the screw plug must be tightened.

After a prolonged shutdown, the motor protective cover should be removed before restarting, and the motor fan blades should be manually rotated to make them flexible before starting.

When using this device while it is in motion, be sure to place the power and grounding wires properly to ensure personal and equipment safety.
