TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe, also known as plastic coated pipe, steel composite pipe and plastic coated composite pipe, is a steel composite pipe with steel pipe as the base, which melts plastic anti-corrosion coating on the inner surface of steel pipe (bottom pipe) or plastic anti-corrosion coating on the inner and outer surfaces through spray, rolling, immersion and suction technologies. TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes have excellent corrosion resistance and relatively low friction resistance. Epoxy resin TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes are suitable for the transportation of water supply and drainage, seawater, warm water, oil, gas and other media, while polyvinyl chloride TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipes are suitable for the transportation of drainage, seawater, oil, gas and other media. TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe is a product made of PE (modified polyethylene) hot-dip molding or EP (epoxy resin) inner and outer coating, which has excellent corrosion resistance. At the same time, the coating itself has good electrical insulation and will not produce electrical corrosion. Low water absorption rate, high mechanical strength, low friction coefficient, can achieve long-term use. Effectively preventing damage to plant roots and soil environmental stress, easy to connect and maintain.
The outer wall of the TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe adopts a hot-melt bonding and winding process (bottom layer epoxy resin, middle layer adhesive, outer layer polyethylene) to form a three-layer structure as a whole anti-corrosion layer. The inner wall adopts a thermal spray epoxy powder anti-corrosion method, which uniformly applies the powder to the surface of the pipe after high-temperature heating and fusion, improving the adhesion and thickness of the coating, enhancing the ability to resist bumps and corrosion, and the construction is simple. The inside and outside of the pipeline can be coated and cured at the same time, forming a film in one go. It can be widely used for pipeline anti-corrosion in various anti-corrosion engineering fields.

Advantages of TPEP anti-corrosion seamless steel pipe:
1. TPEP steel pipes are more expensive but have lower roughness, and require a smaller diameter than ductile iron pipes at the same flow rate. If the diameter of the ductile iron pipe in this project needs to be DN1200mm, the price per meter is 2200 yuan; TPEP steel pipe only requires DN1000mm, with a price of 1920 yuan per meter. Using TPEP steel pipes in this way actually saves investment compared to ductile iron pipes.
2. TPEP steel pipes are different from general steel pipes in that they have undergone internal and external anti-corrosion treatment, and anti-corrosion treatment poses no harm to drinking water.
3. TPEP steel pipes have stronger resistance to water hammer than ductile iron pipes.
4. The basic requirements for the two types of pipes are basically the same.
5. In terms of construction, TPEP steel pipes are welded, with higher technical requirements and slower construction progress; Ductile iron pipes are plug-in, with general technical requirements and faster construction progress, but require more support piers.
6. Under the same working conditions, the diameter of TPEP steel pipes is reduced by one size compared to ductile iron pipes, resulting in a corresponding decrease in excavation volume of pipeline trenches, temporary land occupation, pipe fitting size, and occupation. After comprehensive consideration of cost-effectiveness and construction difficulty, TPEP steel pipes (external 3PE internal fusion bonded epoxy steel pipes) are selected for water supply units with a diameter greater than DN800;
