Product Details

1、 Introduction

Portable escape equipment is a breathing device that provides respiratory protection for individuals escaping from hazardous gas areas. It is carried by the user with a gas cylinder that stores compressed air. The compressed gas is then depressurized by a pressure regulator for the user to breathe, and the user does not rely on the surrounding air when breathing. This equipment has a small volume and is easy to operate and use. It is widely used for safe escape and use by workers in places where toxic and harmful gases leak, such as chemical, petroleum, smelting, power supply, food, laboratories, etc.

The THA portable escape equipment uses a positive pressure gas supply system, which maintains positive pressure inside the full face mask regardless of whether the user is inhaling or exhaling. Toxic and harmful gases in the environment cannot enter the mask, thus completing respiratory protection for the human body.

3、 Composition of portable escape equipment

The THA/15-I portable escape device consists of a gas cylinder assembly, a pressure regulator, a gas supply valve, a full face cover, and a shoulder bag.

1. Gas cylinder assembly: The material of the gas cylinder is divided into carbon fiber wrapped composite gas cylinder and high-strength steel gas cylinder, with a capacity of 3L and a working pressure of 20MPa. The gas cylinder is equipped with a gas cylinder valve, and a pressure gauge is installed on the gas cylinder valve. The pressure gauge always displays the air pressure inside the gas cylinder without opening the gas cylinder valve. The cylinder valve is also equipped with a high-pressure safety valve. When the pressure inside the cylinder rises abnormally to 28-32MPa, the diaphragm of the high-pressure safety valve will burst, quickly releasing the air pressure inside the cylinder to ensure the safety of the cylinder and pressure reducing valve.

The output thread of the gas cylinder valve is W21.8 1/14 '.

2. Pressure reducer: A pressure reducer is a device that reduces the pressure of gas in a gas cylinder to 0.5MPa and outputs it to a gas supply valve for personnel to breathe. The gas output flow rate is greater than 200L/min.

3. Gas supply valve: The gas supply valve has an automatic positive pressure function, equipped with an automatic positive pressure switch and a bypass forced gas supply switch. It works automatically with the user's breathing, supplying gas during inhalation and not during breath holding and exhalation, thus allowing the limited gas in the cylinder to be fully and effectively used, avoiding losses and waste.

4. Full face mask: The full face mask is a positive pressure, open face mask with a spherical window providing a wide field of view, and the lens is highly transparent without optical deformation. The mask is equipped with a mouth and an exhalation valve, allowing the gas exhaled by the user to be directly discharged outside the mask without being recycled, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.

5. Shoulder bag: A shoulder bag is an important component for storing and carrying portable escape equipment. The gas cylinder, gas supply valve, and full face cover are all placed inside the shoulder bag. When in use, carrying the shoulder bag or putting it around the neck is complete, which is both fast and convenient, and does not hinder personnel activities.

4、 Instructions for using portable escape devices

1. Take out the escape device and carry it on your body. Open the gas cylinder valve switch and tear off the bag cover.

2. Take out the full face mask, insert the chin into the mask, and pull the head mesh mask from bottom to top to place the mask on the head.

3. Straighten out the hair and sideburns so that the frame of the full mask does not press against the hair. Tighten the straps appropriately to ensure a tight fit between the mask and the facial skin.

4. Taking a deep breath and hearing a "pop" sound, the air supply valve switch opens, compressed air enters the full face hood, and then breathes normally. The air supply valve will naturally supply air as the user breathes. If the mask does not fit well with the face, you will hear a continuous "silk silk" air leakage sound. At this time, you need to tighten the strap again or tidy up the soft edges of the mask. If the sound is loud, it means that the bypass valve is not closed and needs to be turned off.

5. Choose a suitable and safe route to quickly escape from the dangerous area, and only remove the escape equipment after reaching the safe zone.

5、 Safety precautions

1. The portable escape equipment gas cylinder has a storage capacity of only 600L, which can provide users with 15 minutes of protection. Users should pay full attention and quickly reach the safe area within the allowed time.

2. Portable escape equipment * is used to escape from hazardous gas areas and should be avoided from misuse. If it is necessary to use this device to enter a hazardous site for short-term emergency rescue, please closely monitor the pressure gauge and pay attention to the protected time to ensure safe evacuation to a safe area within the effective time.

3. The bypass valve on the gas supply valve is designed to provide safety assurance and performance inspection for positive pressure air respirators. When the bypass valve is opened, it will quickly release the air in the gas cylinder, greatly reducing the usage time. This function is not required or can be used in the escape device, so it is necessary to ensure that the bypass valve is in the closed state.

4. High pressure safety valve diaphragm material manufacturing, with a burst pressure of 28-32PMa. If the safety valve diaphragm bursts, the cause should be identified and replaced from the spare parts provided with the product. Other materials should not be used as substitutes, otherwise danger may occur.

6、 Maintenance and upkeep

1. The stored spare escape equipment should be inspected regularly, including:

(1) Appearance inspection, check that the escape equipment is complete and intact, without damage or detachment.

(2) The pressure of the gas cylinder should not be less than 20MPa, and the pressure gauge should display normally. If the air pressure is below 20MPa, it should be supplemented to ensure that the usage time can meet the requirement of 15 minutes.

2. After use, the escape equipment should be cleaned by wiping the surface of the face mask and gas supply valve with a soft towel. If there is any contamination, use neutral detergent to wipe. The full face mask can be soaked, cleaned, and disinfected.

Friendly reminder: The gas supply valve can only be wiped, not soaked in water for cleaning, and do not attempt to disassemble or dismantle it. Once disassembled, the gas supply valve needs to be retested.

3. Once the gas cylinder is inflated, it becomes a high-pressure hazardous material. During use and storage, strong impact, falling, and exposure to strong sunlight are not allowed.

4. The storage location of escape equipment should be away from heat sources, and should not come into contact with corrosive chemicals, toxic substances, or be stored in the aforementioned environment.
