Single component and two-component analyzers

Hardware requirements: PC/laptop; 486DX-66 with at least 8 MB RAM and a hard drive with at least 10 MB of free space; Idle COM ports: RS232 or RS485,
The transmission distance can reach up to 500 meters, and using repeaters can achieve even longer transmission distances.

Preparation for startup:
Check for leaks and measure the pressure using a U-tube pressure gauge. Check the leakage of the sample gas path according to the following method:
Apply a pressure of approximately 0.1 bar in the sample gas path
Wait for about 1 minute until the temperature of the incoming gas stabilizes
• Record the pressure
Continue waiting for 15 minutes, then record the pressure again. If the change in pressure within 15 minutes is not greater than 1 hPa (1 mbar), it indicates that the sample gas path has sufficient leak resistance.
Gas processing, gas sampling devices, gas coolers, liquid condensation tanks, filters, all controllers, recorders or indicators (if connected) should be prepared for their operation.
Start up
Power on: When the analyzer is set to the desired voltage and all connections are complete, you can connect the analyzer to the power supply. Connect the power supply of the analyzer and allow it to preheat
Self calibration overview: When the analyzer starts, it will use the connected medium for calibration. This' self calibration 'will calibrate the zero point and sensitivity of the IR channel.
If there is an O2 sensor, its sensitivity will also be calibrated simultaneously.
Note: If there is no O2 sensor in the analyzer, nitrogen can be used for self calibration. If the analyzer is equipped with an O2 sensor, only air can be used for self calibration.
Select the media provided based on the configuration of the analyzer (gas connection), and these media cannot be parameterized using software.

Compensation for temperature effects: The compensation for temperature effects is stored in the EEPROM of ULTRAMAT 23 and can only be modified in the factory.
Noise suppression: Any possible noise can be suppressed by adjusting various time constants (see Section 5.9).
According to the differences in environmental conditions, the analyzer should be recalibrated every six months to one year.
