SMRT1 single-phase relay testing systemIntroduction:
SMRT1, as an independent instrument, combines high compatible voltage and high current "intelligence" to test electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based overcurrent relays, including voltage control, voltage constraint, and directional overcurrent; Test low/overvoltage, single-phase impedance, single-phase power, orientation, synchronization, automatic synchronization, negative sequence low/overvoltage, balanced current, frequency, volts/hertz, reclosing, thermal sensing, and various other relays. Please refer to the application guide for details.
The SMRT1 testing system can be accessed through Megger's new intelligent touchscreen interface ™ (STVI) for manual control.
STVI's large and full-color high-resolution TFT LCD touch screen allows users to manually control the test screen, coupled with built-in preset testing programs for common relays, enabling quick and convenient execution of manual, steady-state, and dynamic tests.
With STVI, testing almost all types of relays no longer requires a computer. The menu screen and touch screen function buttons can provide quick and convenient selection of the required testing functions.
SMRT1 test results can be saved to PowerDB ™ ONBOARD, For downloading to a storage disk for transferring or printing test reports.
For fully automated testing, SMRT1 can be controlled using Megger's Visual Image Operations Detection Software (AVTS).
AVTS is a Microsoft ® Windows ® XP ®/ Vista ™/ 7 compatible software programs that can use Megger's new SMRT to manage various aspects of relay protection testing.
SMRT1 single-phase relay testing systemFeatures:
Compact, sturdy, lightweight, and powerful in functionality
• Can be connected to a computer for operation or operated independently
• Equipped with an intelligent touch screen interface that allows for intuitive manual operation
High intensity current per phase, high power output (75 Amps/400 VA rms)
The network interface provides IEC 61850 testing functionality
AVTS software can be used for automated testing
Application of SMRT1 single-phase relay testing system:
When the power is continuously at 200 VA, the rated current of the current channel is 30 A; when it is 300 VA, it can reach 60 A in a short time. It has a smooth power curve (4 A to 30 A), which ensures that a large following voltage can always be obtained. When there is a compliant voltage of up to 50 V, SMRT1 can test high impedance overcurrent relays.
When the output power is 150 VA, the voltage channel can provide variable output from 0 V to 30/150/300 V, and has a smooth power curve of * (30 V to 150 V), ensuring that * high output power can always be obtained. After converting the voltage channel into current, SMRT1 can perform small operating point testing, slope testing, and timing testing on current differential relays (including harmonic suppression transformer differential relays; only one phase can be tested at a time for this type of relay).
SMRT1 can also be used in conjunction with other devices in the SMRT series. SMRT1 uses Ethernet ports and is essentially a plug and play device. Its voltage and current outputs can be seamlessly synchronized with those of other SMRT devices, making it easy to test more complex relays (such as three-phase directional power amplifiers, distance amplifiers, demagnetization, or 6, 9 to 12 phase current testing applications).
