The concrete sleeper rail sulfur anchored threaded road studs used in China's railways have the characteristics of high strength, reliable use, low cost, convenient construction, and easy maintenance. However, it is necessary to ensure the good quality of sulfur anchoring in order to achieve satisfactory performance. This detector is an experimental equipment used for on-site inspection of the sulfur anchoring quality of concrete sleepers. Applicable to the testing and construction quality acceptance of single sleepers anchored with road studs in new line projects, track panel bases, line major repairs, and maintenance, as well as for use by management units and relevant laboratories. Used to supervise and inspect the quality of sulfur anchoring.

IIRailway nail pulling instrumentMain purpose:

1. Directly testing the pull-out resistance of sulfur anchored road studs on concrete sleepers to supervise the construction quality of sulfur anchoring.

2. The inspection of compressive strength of sulfur anchoring agent is conducted to verify the product quality of anchoring agent.

IIITesting method:

The detection of the pull-out resistance of road studs is carried out on the already anchored sleepers.

(1)Install detector:

1. Twist the pull rod together with the crossbeam onto the road stud to be inspected;

2. Place the column on the shoulder of the rail sleeper and connect it with the adjusting nut;

2. Place the booster pump on the rail sleeper platform, rotate the adjustment nut or the booster pump handle to make the top of the booster pump contact the crossbeam of the instrument host (at this time, it is not under force), and keep the crossbeam basically horizontal.

3. The instrument can be used by installing it on the top of the measuring beam of the instrument.

(2) Test pull-out resistance:

1. Rotate the dial indicator so that the pointer points to zero;

2. Press the handle of the jack to apply force to the road stud;

3. Calculate the pull-out force F value of the road nail based on the degree of the dial indicator using the following formula;

F=9.8(K·A)

In the formula: F - nail pull-out resistance KN (kilonewtons)

A - Degree of dial gauge (measured in 0.01mm)

K - Calibration coefficient (see note)

The maximum force of this detector can reach 77.6KN (8tf), and overloading detection will damage the detector. According to the regulations, if the pull-out strength reaches 58.8KN (6tf), it indicates that the anchorage strength has been qualified.
