When the shaft or sleeve experiences radial circular runout due to eccentricity in manufacturing, installation, etc., it has sufficient floating performance, and even if graphite cracks appear, it can fit well, ensuring a tight fit and preventing leakage. The valve graphite packing has low requirements for the flange surface, and a small pre tightening force can achieve sealing effect. It is easy to cut and is a relatively economical and practical sealing material.
