Particle size is a geometric parameter that represents the size of powder particles. But the vast majority of powder particles have irregular geometric shapes. In powder particle measurement, we take the diameter of the measured powder particles as the equivalent of a sphere of the same mass as the particle size of the measured particles. The particle size of a powder sample varies, so a particle size distribution curve is needed to comprehensively describe the overall particle size of the powder when measuring and evaluating it, that is, to measure the proportion of powder particles with different particle sizes to the total powder. The particle size of powder is usually divided into several grades in order of particle size, expressed as the percentage of each grade's particle size to the total mass.
