The positive electrode materials of lithium batteries mainly include lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, nickel manganese cobalt ternary materials, and lithium iron phosphate. Among them, lithium iron phosphate is regarded as an ideal positive electrode material by the industry due to its potential advantages in cycle life, safety, and material cost that other materials do not possess. Lithium ion battery negative electrode materials can be roughly divided into the following types: * type is carbon negative electrode material: Currently, the negative electrode materials actually used in lithium-ion batteries are basically carbon materials, such as artificial graphite, natural graphite, intermediate phase carbon microspheres, petroleum coke, carbon fiber, pyrolytic resin carbon, etc. The second type is tin based negative electrode materials: tin based negative electrode materials can be divided into two types: tin oxides and tin based composite oxides. Oxide refers to the oxide of various valence states of tin metal. There are currently no commercial products available. The third type is lithium containing transition metal nitride negative electrode material, which currently has no commercial products. The fourth type is alloy based negative electrode materials, including tin based alloys, silicon-based alloys, germanium based alloys, aluminum based alloys, antimony based alloys, magnesium based alloys, and other alloys, which currently have no commercial products. The fifth type is nanoscale negative electrode materials: carbon nanotubes and nanoalloy materials. The sixth type of nanomaterial is nano oxide material.
The battery positive and negative electrode material particle size tester is suitable for particle size characterization and analysis of battery positive and negative electrode materials. The electrical and processing properties of lithium-ion battery cathode materials are influenced by their physical properties. Especially the size of particle size distribution has a significant impact on the safety performance of batteries and the compaction density of electrode plates. The battery positive and negative electrode material particle size analyzer is a new generation particle size analysis system developed by the Truth Optics technology team based on more than 20 years of experience in particle size characterization and application. The system is equipped with multiple innovative technologies, with a measurement speed of up to 20000 times per second. The Hydrolink dispersion sampler is also driven by dual motors, with built-in high-efficiency ultrasound, strong stirring, and centrifugal circulation pump independently controlled. It is suitable for various types of complex samples, and can easily disperse and inject metal powders and hard alloys with high density and wide distribution, and obtain reliable high reproducibility results.
