Introduction to Powder Ingredient System

The powder batching system provided by our company is an equipment system that uses powder conveying, storage, and various measuring sensors to transport, mix, and feed one or more powder materials according to the quantity, ratio, and feeding. It is a commonly used integrated equipment in the production processes of fine chemical, chemical, paint, oil, medicine, feed, daily chemical, food, pharmaceutical and other industries. It is usually an automated batching equipment system composed of DCS control related equipment modules, such as unpacking stations, conveying pipelines, storage compartments, measuring compartments, etc. For example, powder feeding control for reaction vessels, packaging ratio of finished powder products such as talc powder, resin, and feed.
Previously, production enterprises often used mechanical weighing methods or flow meters (volumetric specific gravity) for batching, which not only could not guarantee process control and had low measurement accuracy, but were also greatly affected by environment and temperature. The powder batching system includes various equipment such as raw material storage, conveying, weighing batching, dust removal, and material mixing, which make up for the deficiencies in these measurement methods, ensure the process, and reduce losses.

3. Data: The ingredient system automatically calculates, processes, and outputs the collected signals;
4. Communication: Bidirectional data and information exchange occurs between the industrial computer, PLC, and instrument, ensuring smooth human-machine dialogue;
5. Monitoring: Detect and monitor parameters such as flow rate and cumulative quantity during the ingredient preparation process, and retrieve them at any time;

Classification of Powder Ingredient Systems
1、 Semi automatic batching system - single control batching system

The single control batching system is characterized by its simplicity, practicality, and flexibility.
The form is: one control instrument controls one quantitative feeding and measuring equipment. If there are N types of materials, use N control instruments to control N quantitative feeding and measuring equipment. Each route is manually set, controlled and operated to achieve automatic batching. Widely used in industries such as feed, metallurgy, building materials, and chemical engineering.

2、 Automated batching system - constant value batching mixing system

The fixed value batching system is a system device that uses a DCS system to control the entire conveying batching system, completely replacing on-site manual operation, and combining PLC, sensors, and related hardware equipment. The human-machine interface has fast response speed, reliable performance, and precise and stable control data.


The weighing and batching system composed of weighing modules is mainly used for weighing and batching various materials (solid, liquid, gas) in industries such as chemical, feed, and electrical materials. The system can adopt various working modes such as single bucket single material, single bucket multi material, etc. Ingredient system: divided into standard and advanced types. Intuitive display of process management, capable of printing and outputting reports on product consumption, storage, and ingredients. The automatic weighing and batching system can be roughly divided into sequential batching and continuous batching.
Sequential batching is commonly used, and various materials are added to the measuring bin in the set formula order. Only one material is allowed to be added to the measuring bin at any time. The user inputs a fixed formula, and the weighing system detects and controls the data of the measuring warehouse, feeding pipelines, inlet and outlet valves, etc. to add materials according to the formula. Only one set of weighing devices is used, with a simple structure and high accuracy.
Continuous batching can be used for some non intermittent batching or process requirements that require continuous operation. Each material is weighed separately and added to the production equipment according to the set flow rate. Multiple weighing and measuring warehouses form a continuous batching system. Users can input various formulas for continuous feeding or proportional feeding, with high accuracy and fast speed.

4、 DCS system

The powder conveying and batching system has been upgraded to DCS controlled fully intelligent operation, avoiding data loss and errors. The entire system is stable and reliable, and reduces the workload of on-site operators, making it environmentally friendly, hygienic, safe, and stable.
