Instrument Introduction

EDGE is equipped with a linear silicon strip fast detector based on single photon counting technology, which has noise free performance, achieving high-intensity measurement and fast data acquisition. An efficient one-dimensional multi band detector can simultaneously capture a large angle range and shorten measurement time from hours to minutes. Compared with traditional scintillation counters, it can significantly reduce measurement time without affecting data quality such as intensity, resolution, and peak shape. This air-cooled detector has a compact size, low power consumption, no need for post maintenance, and a long service life. Inhibit the X-ray fluorescence function to ensure that the analysis results are not interfered by the X-ray fluorescence background of the sample.
In addition, EDGE can also install different types of X-ray tubes (easy to replace) to meet more applications.
