Overview:

The main sources of ammonia nitrogen in water are the decomposition products of nitrogen-containing organic compounds in domestic sewage by microbial action, certain industrial wastewater such as coking wastewater and synthetic ammonia fertilizer plant wastewater, as well as agricultural drainage. In addition, in anaerobic environments, nitrite present in water can also be reduced to ammonia by microbial action. In aerobic environments, ammonia in water can also be converted into nitrite and even further into nitrate. Measuring various forms of nitrogen compounds in water can help evaluate the pollution and self purification status of water bodies. When the ammonia nitrogen content is high, it can have a toxic effect on fish.

Principle of the detector:

This instrument applies the principle of microcomputer photoelectron colorimetric detection to replace the traditional visual colorimetric method. Eliminating human error, the measurement resolution is greatly improved.
