Once the detector is turned on, measures will be taken to store background radiation information. Personal radiation detectors PM1703GN and PM1703GNA can even detect slight levels of radiation in the environment. The advanced processing algorithm of the instrument allows users to update background levels and set alarm thresholds to adapt to specific radiation environments and meet the required false alarm rates.
