OG2000V Rock Pyrolysis Instrument (Oil and Gas Display Evaluation Instrument) is an oil and gas display evaluation instrument developed by Jinpu Company based on the original OG-2000 geochemical logging instrument according to the GB/T18602-2012 standard, which is used for oil fields, coal mines, geological exploration, coalbed methane and shale gas development. It has two functions: rock pyrolysis and residual carbon.
Product Details
OG2000V oil and gas display evaluation instrument is mainly used for geochemical logging at drilling sites and laboratory rock pyrolysis analysis. Under programmed heating conditions, rock is heated to evaporate oil and gas components, while kerogen and high molecular weight bitumen are thermally decomposed into hydrocarbons. Three peaks S0, S1, S2, and Tmax, or five peaks S0, S1, S21, S22, S23, as well as other derived parameters GPI, OPI, TPI, Cp, Pg, etc., are quantitatively detected and analyzed by FID.
After pyrolysis, residual organic matter in the sample is heated and oxidized to CO2, which is then catalyzed by H2 to generate CH4. S4, as well as derived parameters such as RC, TOC, S4, ST, IHC, IH, and D, are quantitatively detected by FID to calculate the total organic carbon content in the sample.
Thus, the oil potential, maturity, organic matter type, oil and gas content, and oil and gas properties of the source rock can be quickly evaluated. Analysis results * GB/T18602-2012 standard.
