Nitrogen Blowdown EvaporatorMainly used for concentration or preparation of large quantities of samples (such as drug screening, hormone analysis, liquid phase, and sample preparation in mass spectrometry analysis). Instrument is an instrument used in liquid phase, gas phase, and mass spectrometry analysis experiments to prepare concentrated samples. It mainly involves blowing nitrogen gas into the surface of heated samples for sample concentration. The operation is time-saving, convenient, and easy to control, and it is widely used in industries such as pesticide residue analysis, commodity inspection, food, environment, pharmaceuticals, and biological products. The instrument can quickly, continuously, and controllably blow nitrogen onto the surface of heated samples, achieving rapid concentration of a large amount of samples. The use of instruments to replace traditional rotary evaporators for sample concentration has been increasingly recognized and accepted by more and more people.
Nitrogen Blowdown EvaporatorThe working principle is to blow nitrogen into the surface of the heated sample, causing the solvent in the sample to evaporate and separate quickly, thereby achieving the goal of oxygen free concentration of the sample and keeping it purer.
The instrument includes a base and support device, a sample holder, and a gas distribution system. The test tube is fixed in position by a spring-loaded test tube clamp and support plate. Each sample grade has a numerical code; The gas reaches the gas distribution system through a flow meter, and a flexible guide tube guides the gas into valves and stainless steel needles at each position, blowing the gas onto the surface of the sample to rapidly evaporate the solvent. According to the size of the test tube and the amount of solvent, each airway can be independently raised and lowered to the appropriate height.
Safety precautions for the use of instruments:
(1) Do not use the instrument for substances with an ignition point below 100 ℃.
(2) When using instruments, hands and eyes should be protected. Use a three wire grounded power supply.
(3) The instrument should be used in a fume hood to ensure good ventilation.
(4) Do not move the instrument during heating to prevent burns.
(5) Do not open the water bath casing with electricity to prevent electric shock.
(6) Do not use instruments for highly flammable substances such as petroleum ether.
(7) Do not use acidic or alkaline substances, otherwise it will damage the instrument.
(8) The maintenance of instruments should be carried out by professionals. Improper replacement of components may cause damage to the instruments or pose safety hazards.
