NHK Cross Depth Gauge

Introduction

A tool for measuring the depth of screw grooves, divided into cross groove depth gauge, meter groove depth gauge, plum blossom depth gauge, hexagonal depth gauge, and square depth gauge according to different groove shapes. Divided by standards into national standards, JIS standards, ISO standards, ANSI/ASME standards, and DIN standards.

working principle

The screw depth gauge consists of a dial gauge, a guide tube, and a measuring needle. The measuring needle is distinguished according to different groove shapes and specifications, and each specification is only applicable to one type of screw. After flattening the bottom plane of the measuring needle and catheter on the standard platform, return the dial gauge to zero position. Then place the measuring needle in the screw groove and read the indicated value of the dial gauge, which is the depth value of the screw groove.

Operation Method

Firstly, press the screw depth gauge probe onto the standard plane and reset the percentage to zero. Insert the measuring head into the screw slot to be measured, push the screw towards the direction of the screw depth gauge onto the plane of the depth gauge, and after stabilization, read the depth value in the dial gauge.

Precautions

Due to the wear and tear of the measuring needle during use, please conduct regular accuracy checks. If the wear of the measuring needle affects the measurement accuracy to a certain extent, it must be replaced in a timely manner.
