ModuLab XM is a modular electrochemical measurement system, with a high-speed and high-performance constant potential/constant current meter at its core, capable of precise control and measurement. There are a range of modules available for selection to make the electrochemical testing system suitable for specific application needs, including fuel cell development, electrochemical analysis, nanotechnology, and corrosion/coating research. Each optional module undergoes independent calibration, so adding modules to the ModuLab system is as simple as "plug and play"! The front panel of the instrument can be easily removed and a new module can be inserted. When the instrument is turned on again, the new module can be quickly detected by the software.
ModuLab XM systemNot only can configuration be set in many ways like "plug and play", but it can also be upgraded from single channel to multi-channel on one instrument. From one constant potential meter in one chassis to multiple constant potential meters in the same chassis, or multiple chassis with multiple constant potential meters in each chassis expansion system. Multiple potentiometers can be controlled by a single PC or integrated into a system to control all potentiometers as needed. At the same time, additional potentiometers and optional components can be added to each chassis at any time.
The ModuLab XM system utilizes Over Sampling signal processing technology, which provides ultra smooth cyclic voltammetry waveforms regardless of the combination used and even when operating at the highest scan rate of>10KV/s. The performance of this signal generator ensures that the tested system is not affected by stepping and transient noise interference, as the "smooth scan" of ModuLab XM means this. The high-precision digital technology of the DSP used ensures accurate waveform generation and analysis across the entire scanning speed range without changing the operating mode or connection.
Each option of the ModuLab XM system has been carefully designed to seamlessly integrate with the core constant potential/constant current meter and other options, expanding the system's control and measurement capabilities and providing researchers with an unlimited testing platform.
The software provided by ModuLab XM system is flexible, feature rich, and easy to use. Provide a wide range of experimental types to choose from, from standard open circuit and cyclic voltammetry testing to complex multi-step sequences including sample preparation, high-level experimental techniques, and comprehensive impedance analysis.
ModuLab XM software is used for curve graphics in all stages of experimental development, so users can know exactly what waveform to apply to the electrolytic cell. When the parameters are input into the software, the real-time waveform and connection diagram applied to the electrolytic cell during the experiment will be displayed. Users can check whether the electrolytic cell is connected correctly and make adjustments before the experiment begins. The connection diagram within the software enhances the scalability, allowing the system configuration to be quickly and easily reconfigured to adapt to any type of testing.
The software allows for free selection of data collection modes, regardless of the type of experiment chosen. For example, running a pulse voltammetry experiment, a high sampling rate can be chosen to analyze the actual shape of the pulse (voltage and current) in order to select the measurement point on the pulse.
