XQ-2BThe metallographic specimen embedding machine (hereinafter referred to as the embedding machine) is suitable for pressing thermosetting plastics on small metallographic specimens that are not shaped or easy to handle. After forming, it is convenient to perform sample grinding and polishing operations, and it is also beneficial for microstructure determination under a metallographic microscope.
Overview of structural features
The embedding machine can work reliably under the following conditions:
lAltitude not exceeding 1000 meters;
lThe temperature of the surrounding medium shall not exceed+40 degrees Celsius and shall not be less than -10 degrees Celsius;
lThe relative humidity of the air is not greater than 85% (at 20 degrees Celsius);
lThere is no obvious vibration or jolting;
lThere is no conductive dust, explosive gas, or serious damage around
Corrosive gases in metals and insulation.
This machine is a mechanical inlaying machine, which rotates the external handwheel of the machine body and drives the internal screw of the machine body through a pair of bevel gears to move the lower mold of the pressed sample up and down inside the rigid mold sleeve. The thermal plastic and the embedded sample are formed under heating conditions. The forming pressure during the sample preparation process is automatically compensated by springs fixed in the collective, and the pressure of the sample compression can be indicated by signal lights.
This embedding machine is equipped with a digital temperature controller, which enables real-time temperature display and autonomous temperature setting. It is also equipped with a timer, which enables semi-automatic sample preparation and greatly improves work efficiency. Each embedding and sample preparation time is 8-10 minutes, and an ideal sample as smooth as a mirror can be obtained.
