AutoPoreV mercury intrusion porosimeter
Mercury injection analysis technology is based on the method of injecting mercury into pore structures under precisely controlled pressure. In addition to the advantages of speed, accuracy, and wide analysis range, mercury intrusion porosimetry also allows users to calculate numerous sample characteristics, such as pore size distribution, total pore volume, total pore specific surface area, median pore size, and sample density (bulk density and skeleton density).
AutoPoreV seriesMercury intrusion meterProvide faster and more accurate measurements for materials with wide aperture distributions compared to other methods. The instrument highlights enhanced safety performance while also adding new data processing and reporting options, providing more information on material pore geometry and fluid permeability.
Mercury intrusion meterOperational advantages
Capable of measuring pore diameters ranging from 0.003 to 1100 µ m
Within the pressure range of 0.2psi to 50psi, a slight pressure increment of 0.05psi can be provided, allowing for detailed data collection within the large pore range
The high-resolution (below micro upgrade) analysis mode can accurately measure the volume of mercury in and out of the sample, allowing users to develop more stringent sample specifications, improve product processes, and obtain high-quality research and development data
Three operating modes: fast scanning, time or mercury injection rate balance
Real time diagnosis can provide information on critical states or issues that may harm the analysis results
• Collect higher resolution data, with mercury injection and removal volumes accurate to less than 0.1 μ L
Improved linear closure method for high-pressure chamber
Mercury intrusion meterDesign advantages
• Higher safety level, reducing the risk of mercury spillage and operator exposure
There are a total of 4 low-voltage stations and 2 high-voltage stations to provide high-throughput measurement samples
High pressure options available in 33000psi or 60000psi models
Low noise high-pressure generation system
Quick scan mode allows continuous pressure increase to near equilibrium and provides quick filtering
The selection of baseline correction process (automatic, differential or manual) can correct the compression and thermal effects caused by high pressure and provide more accurate analysis results
Users have two options for boost mode: high analysis speed or on-demand scanning mode; Balanced mode for higher precision and more detailed results
The mercury temperature sensor used for expansion meter calibration allows for automatic calculation of mercury density
MicroActive software allows for interactive manipulation of data, customization of reports, and quick access to analysis results
Compensate for material compression under high pressure analysis
Mercury intrusion meterfour models
The AutoPoreV series of products includes four models to meet the needs of quality control and laboratory research and development characteristics.
AutoPore's MicroActive software
Intelligent, intuitive, and interactive
The improvement of MicroActive software in terms of functionality, convenience, diagnosis, and data analysis has established a new standard for high-performance mercury intrusion meters.
Method Wizard
By using interactive scripts, gradually establishing methods becomes easier and more convenient for new users to use.
Mercury density calculation
Unlike similar systems that only use mercury density at ambient temperature, AutoPoreV automatically measures the true density of mercury at actual operating temperature for more accurate density calculations.
User defined reports and report options
By using the Python scripting language, custom reports can be quickly created to meet specific needs. The new report options allow for automatic conversion of reports to PDF or spreadsheet format.
Post analysis of parameter changes
Allow for post analysis to change or correct analysis parameters (capillary volume, high pressure head, dilatometer constant), avoiding the need to retest samples due to parameter errors.
Data Processing of Reverberi Method
Obtain information from the distribution of pore shapes and generate three-dimensional data of pore size and throat size versus volume.
Diagnostic control panel
The key part of the real-time monitoring system is used for performance diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Enhanced expansion meter calibration
The calibration of the expansion meter is simplified by automatically calculating volume or weight.
Intelligent Data Report
Multiple charts
Pore volume, pore area, and pore size can also be calculated to obtain the total mercury injection volume, total pore (surface) area, median pore size, average pore size, bulk density, and apparent (skeleton) density
