The KEM desktop densitometer DA-100 is a U-shaped vibrating tube densitometer. Summary of the method: Inject a small amount of sample into a temperature controlled sample tube, automatically record the vibration frequency or period, and calculate the density of the sample automatically using the pre obtained sample tube constant. The constant of the sample tube is determined by the vibration frequency when the sample tube is filled with a calibration solution of known density. The instrument will directly display the density value after the sample is injected into the sample tube.
