INFORS small pilot scale in-situ sterilization bioreactor
Techfors-S Cell is a classic pilot cultivation system of INFORS, which adopts a fully computerized touch screen controller and a new design, making Techfors-S Cell have the advantages of small footprint, powerful functions, and fully automatic operation. In addition to standard products, Techfors-S Cell can also customize special bioreactors according to customers' special needs to meet their requirements. The operation is very simple, only one or two experiments are needed to master it proficiently. The overall structural design is simple, and it is a highly integrated reaction system with fully automatic in-situ sterilization and flexibility, allowing your cultivation process to be carried out at will. Among similar products, it occupies a small area and can be moved freely. It has passed multiple quality certifications such as ISO to ensure experimental safety and high cost-effectiveness!

*Temperature control: Techfors-S Cell heats up quickly through electric heating or steam heating. The cooling method is jacket water bath cooling. If cultivation below room temperature is required, it can be achieved by matching a chiller or directly introducing tap water. Temperature range: Cooling medium temperature+5 ℃~70 ℃. The double-layer jacket that extends all the way to the low point of the tank ensures excellent temperature control even for small cultivation volumes
The heater, heat exchanger, circulation pump, and all valves and pipelines of Techfors-S Cell can be easily observed on the back of the instrument, making it easy to check the working status of the temperature control system at any time
*Techfors-S Cell adopts a magnetic coupling stirring system and Marine type stirring blades, suitable for various mammalian cells, insect cells, etc. Speed range: 20~300 RPM; Control accuracy: ± 1rpm

Techfors-S Cell only requires an additional quality sensor fixed between the support system and the tank to monitor tank quality in real time, providing more parameter basis for your biological cultivation process
*Fully automatic in-situ sterilization: The sterilization of Techfors-S Cell is automated, and steam is introduced into a specially designed double-layer jacket for heating during sterilization. Steam sterilization is an excellent sterilization method that ensures sterility, safety, and excellence. It can be paired with a very compact steam generator, fixed at the bottom of the support system, to achieve in-situ sterilization without the need for centralized steam supply. This design not only saves a lot of experimental space occupied by traditional steam generators, allowing the steam generator to move freely with the entire cultivation system, but also saves a lot of unnecessary pipelines, avoiding the hidden danger of additional pollution to the cultivation system
If the laboratory cannot provide centralized steam supply, Techfors-S Cell can provide an ultra small volume steam generator. It can be placed next to the reactor or fixed on a support system to move with the reactor
Techfors-S Cell has designed a manual valve at the air inlet to distinguish between the sterilization stage and the cultivation stage, ensuring that the filter membrane at the inlet and outlet of the sterilization stage can be fully sterilized
*Height adjustable bioreactor, bottom sampling and discharge design
*Techfors-S Cell can provide customers with an optional can lid lifting device. This device can help users easily lift the tank lid, along with the mixing system, turbulence baffle, and other structures, to the appropriate height to complete the operation or cleaning. Models with a total volume of 15L or more are equipped with this device
*Bottom roller design, easy to move; Easy maintenance, pipeline hose design, easy disassembly and cleaning, reducing pollution sources
*Sample injection pump: Connected to the injection port of the reactor cover through a silicone tube, liquid samples are added. All pumps can be programmed to count and can be set to 0-100% time per cycle. The standard four high-precision digital peristaltic pumps can be precisely controlled and can be used for timed program flow addition to meet the needs of continuous cultivation; It can be increased to 5 as needed. Each large injection volume is 48mL/min at 60 RPM (measured based on the randomly provided injection tube). Breaking through the traditional lateral arrangement of peristaltic pumps, INFORS' four peristaltic pumps adopt a lateral arrangement, which is the result of accumulated experience. Because there is a possibility of the pump tube of the peristaltic pump breaking during operation, the lateral arrangement of peristaltic pump system can effectively avoid the impact of liquid leakage on the pump head
*Air intake method: The rotary flowmeter controls the gas flow rate, and the standard 4+1 (Air+O2+N2+CO2/Air) gas mixing station can be equipped with a thermal mass flowmeter for precise control of the mixed gas flow rate, which can be applied to most cell cultures. The inlet and outlet filters are 0.2um membrane filters
*Techfors-S Cell uses Gasmix gas mixing station and MFC thermal mass flow meter to accurately monitor the concentration and flow rate of the inlet gas, and together with multiple parameters such as stirring speed, tank pressure (with optional pressure kit) and feeding, achieves programmed and precise control of PO2 through multi-step cascade, reducing the fluctuation of PO2 control. The gas introduced is mixed through the Gasmix gas mixing station before passing through the MFC, ensuring precise and stable supply pressure and concentration. All components of the gas supply system, including MFC, Gasmix gas mixing station, pressure reducing valve, pressure gauge, etc., are installed openly on the side of the main control unit, making it easy for users to further modify or upgrade the gas supply system while using Techfors-S Cell
Sterilization sampling valve
*The sampling valve located at the bottom of the Techfors-S Cell tank, at the center and low points of the bottom, allows users to release the liquid * inside the tank without residue during each collection or cleaning of the culture medium
*The sampling valve has an independent steam sterilization pipeline, and steam sterilization can be carried out before each sampling to ensure sterility. The culture medium can be exported through the transfer pipeline or directly inoculated into the expanded culture reactor
*In the jacket, the steam and water paths are separated and enter separately. The steam spirals up through thin tubes inside the jacket, and there are small holes distributed on the tubes. The steam can be evenly released and flow inside the jacket, effectively preventing adverse effects on the culture medium caused by local high steam temperature
*The filter membranes at the inlet and outlet of the tank are both installed on the side, saving a lot of space on the tank cover and making it easy for users to operate and clean. To reduce the concentration of culture medium caused by water evaporation during biological cultivation, the outlet cooler of Techfors-S Cell is specially designed with built-in air guide screw to ensure condensation effect
*The RSR-232 interface can be monitored in real-time through computer software. The IRIS control software records the biological reaction process in real time, supports online monitoring and remote control of all parameters, and has real-time curves. In addition to basic process monitoring methods, the IRIS software can also be programmed to control and feedback control another parameter through changes in conditions such as one parameter, alarm information, and inoculation time. There is also a tracking function for biological cultivation, which can reproduce the process of a previous cultivation, better achieving the goal of repeated experimental cultivation
