1、 The concept of electric heating tube
Tubular electric heating element (electric heating tube) is made of metal tube as the shell (including stainless steel and copper tube), and spiral electric heating alloy wire (nickel chromium, iron chromium alloy) is uniformly distributed along the central axis of the tube. The gaps are filled and compacted with magnesium oxide sand with good insulation and thermal conductivity. The ends of the tube mouth are sealed with silicone glue. This metal armored electric heating element can heat air, metal molds, and various liquids.

3、 Calculation of heat generation of electric heating tube

How to verify high-quality electric heating tubes
The most intuitive way to verify the quality of an electric heating tube is to first wipe the surface of the tube clean, then turn on an AC 220V power supply and dry burn it in air until the surface turns red. After the tube cools down, wipe it with a napkin. If there is no black oxide powder on the white paper (which has not reacted with oxygen in the air), it indicates that it is a high-quality electric heating tube.

1. Stable electrical performance
After being powered on, the carbon fiber quartz electric heater maintains stable power within a certain tolerance range during frequent start-up, shutdown, and long-term continuous operation, without generating any instantaneous power shock.
2. High thermal efficiency, saving more than 30% energy compared to general metal heating elements, and extremely fast heating rate. Carbon fiber heating element is a pure blackbody material, which has the characteristics of rapid heating, small thermal hysteresis, uniform heating, long heat radiation transfer distance, and fast heat exchange speed. 4、 Precautions for using electric heating tubes:
1. The component is allowed to operate under the following conditions: A. The relative humidity of the air is not greater than 95%, and there are no explosive or corrosive gases. B. The working voltage should not exceed 1.1 times the rated value, and the casing should be effectively grounded. C. Insulation resistance ≥ 1M Ω, dielectric strength: 2KV/1min.
2. Electric heating tubes should be properly positioned and fixed, and the effective heating area must be completely immersed in liquid or metal solids. Empty burning is strictly prohibited. When scale or carbon deposits are found on the surface of the pipe body, they should be removed and reused in a timely manner to avoid affecting heat dissipation and shortening the service life.
3. When heating molten metals or solid nitrate, alkali, asphalt, paraffin, etc., the operating voltage should be reduced first, and only after the medium melts can it be raised to the rated voltage.
4. When heating air, the components should be arranged in a cross and even manner to provide good heat dissipation conditions, so that the air flowing through can be fully heated.
5. When heating nitrate, safety measures should be considered to prevent explosion accidents.
6. The wiring part should be placed outside the insulation layer to avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media, and moisture; The lead wire should be able to withstand the temperature and heating load of the wiring part for a long time, and excessive force should be avoided when tightening the wiring screws.
7. The components should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance is lower than 1M Ω due to long-term storage, they can be dried in an oven at around 200 ℃ or heated with reduced voltage until the insulation resistance is restored.
8. The magnesium oxide powder at the outlet of the electric heating tube should be protected from pollutants and moisture infiltration in the usage area to prevent leakage accidents.
