In most cases, the next generation of passive optical networks (PON) will utilize existing outdoor network infrastructure. Providing new services through existing networks means stacking multiple wavelengths on the same fiber optic cable. PPM1 supports multiple services, including GPON, EPON, XGS-PON, and 10G-EPON technologies. It adopts a wavelength selective design, so it can simultaneously measure two downlink signals and evaluate power levels, thereby helping users quickly and reliably turn on services.
