For cable operators, Remote PHY represents a significant change in network architecture for the upcoming period. This new technology will allow fiber optic cables to penetrate deeper into the network and be closer to end-users. Remote PHY has also sparked the evolution from analog optical components to digital optical components, using dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) to increase capacity.
EXFOFOT-5205 can meet the testing requirements of Remote PHY deployment in terms of spectral range, power range, and channel spacing. It is an ideal tool for successfully debugging networks and effectively diagnosing faults.
