Overview

The expanded granular sludge bed (EGSB) belongs to the third generation anaerobic reactor, which is similar in structure to the UASB reactor, except for (1) a dedicated effluent reflux system; (2) The aspect ratio is larger, usually up to 3-5. EGSB possesses all the performance of UASB and also has many advantages, such as (1) larger sludge particles and strong resistance to impact loads; (2) High aspect ratio and small footprint; (3) Used for high concentration organic wastewater treatment.

Product Introduction:

Using RTK small EGSB reactor (21 L) for simulating industrial fermentation research. With the EGSB gas analysis device, real-time monitoring of methane or biogas production and composition during the fermentation process can be achieved.

Product Features:

(1) The EGSB reactor is made of stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant and has high operational reliability;

(2) The EGSB reactor is equipped with a double-layer jacket and controlled by water circulation to meet experimental requirements;

(3) The three-phase separator inside the EGSB reactor can effectively separate sludge, water, and biogas, improving fermentation efficiency;

(4) After stable operation of the EGSB reactor, pH can be adjusted with return water at a lower cost;

(5) The EGSB gas analysis device can monitor the methane or biogas production and composition in real-time during the fermentation process, which is beneficial for evaluating fermentation efficiency;

(6) The EGSB reactor can be customized with processing related components for real-time measurement of physical and chemical properties such as pH, ORP, COD, etc.
