Introduction:

The dual chamber balanced container is a cleverly structured steam drum water level measurement device with a certain self compensation ability. Above the reference cup, there is a circular funnel-shaped structure that divides the entire container into upper and lower parts. In order to distinguish it from a single chamber equilibrium container, it is called.

Working Principle:

Under normal operating conditions, the water level inside the boiler drum cannot be directly measured, so the method of measuring with an outlet pipe is often used. But its disadvantage is that there is a large temperature difference between the outlet pipe and the steam drum, resulting in a large difference in water density and the inside of the steam drum, which causes certain measurement errors. It is adopted because during its operation, saturated steam condenses and releases heat in the chamber, heating the positive pressure compensation tube and negative pressure compensation tube, and providing sufficient protective layer on the outer layer of the balance container. Reduced heat loss, making the temperature of the equilibrium container close to the temperature inside the steam drum. Thus, the density of water in the positive pressure compensation tube and negative pressure tube is approximately equal to the density of water in the steam drum under any operating conditions; Moreover, due to the correct selection of the height of the positive pressure compensation tube, when the water level in the steam drum is constant, regardless of how the pressure inside the steam drum changes, the pressure change values of the positive pressure compensation tube and the negative pressure tube are equal. Therefore, the output differential pressure remains unchanged, that is, the water level indicated by the low water level gauge remains unchanged. Once the water level in the steam drum changes, the differential pressure output by the balance container also changes linearly, so the low water level indicator can timely display the water level in the steam drum.

Installation precautions:

1. The center distance of the steam pipe leading out of the boiler drum should be the same as that of the balance vessel;

2. The pressure rating of the balance vessel and the boiler drum should be the same;

3. The size of the flange connecting the balance container and the boiler steam drum or the specifications of the welded interface pipes should correspond;

4. Attention: Before installing this balance vessel, the boiler pipeline must be blown to prevent impurities from entering the balance vessel and causing serious accidents.

5. Weld the steam water interface of the balance container to the outside of the steam drum isolation valve to ensure its vertical installation. Due to its weight, the bottom needs to be supported by channel steel, and the supporting surface should be smooth. To prevent equipment from being damaged due to displacement caused by thermal expansion.

6. The drainage pipe should be separately led to the descending pipe with the fastest water circulation in the steam drum (a shut-off valve should be installed near the drainage pipe), and its vertical length should be greater than 10m to ensure that there is no water in the balance container without being emptied. If there is a vacuum phenomenon, turn down the opening of the shut-off valve. This pipeline is not insulated.

7. The positive and negative pressure tapping pipes should be laid downwards after being led out 1m horizontally to ensure that the water temperature inside the tapping pipe is equal to the ambient temperature.

8. After installation, all steam and water sampling pipes, sampling valves, connecting pipes, and cylinder bodies should be insulated, and the top of the cylinder body should not be insulated.

9. The two pressure pipelines leading to the differential pressure transmitter should be laid in parallel, insulated together, and equipped with heat tracing and anti freezing according to on-site needs. When adding steam tracing pipes, they should be isolated from the pressure pipe. To prevent water vaporization in the pressure conduit from affecting the measurement results.
