Construction of anti-corrosion glass flakes for water towers and dosage of glass flake coating for cooling towers in Handan
Construction of anti-corrosion glass flakes for water towers and dosage of glass flake coating for cooling towers in Handan
The application of desulfurization equipment is more common, and it was used in the early days of chimneys in foreign power plants, but it is now less commonly used. There is currently no application of chimneys in domestic power plants.
2.3.6 Anti corrosion coating layer acid resistant pouring material
1) Anti corrosion coating layer, acid resistant pouring material
The inner surface of the steel inner cylinder is first coated with anti-corrosion coating and then poured with acid resistant pouring material. The acid resistant pouring material layer is generally equipped with a steel wire mesh connected to the steel inner cylinder.
The anti-corrosion coating layer is OM Ⅰ type anti-corrosion coating.
Acid resistant and heat-resistant pouring materials generally include acid resistant and heat-resistant concrete, potassium water glass acid resistant mortar layer
2) Anti corrosion coating layer, acid resistant pouring material, and corrosion resistance performance
This plan has poor construction conditions for anti-corrosion lining materials and difficult quality control. And the design has high requirements for anti-corrosion lining materials, which cannot produce subtle cracks to prevent smoke from infiltrating and corroding the steel inner cylinder of the chimney.
The investment in the scheme of pouring anti-corrosion lining material into the steel inner tube of the multi tube steel inner tube chimney is the lowest among the multi tube steel inner tube chimney schemes.
Due to the inevitable corrosion of anti-corrosion lining by flue gas, this type of chimney requires regular inspection and maintenance of the steel inner cylinder. According to Japan's experience, it usually takes more than ten years to repair and construct the anti-corrosion lining material.
3) Construction of anti-corrosion coating layer and acid resistant pouring material lining
The steel inner cylinder is made of steel plates with a thickness of 10-18mm rolled into an arc shape and welded together. A steel ring (T-shaped steel or reinforced angle steel) is installed every 6 meters along the outer edge of the steel inner cylinder. Steel inner cylinder stabilization devices are installed at the elevation of the maintenance platform and lifting platform to ensure the overall horizontal stability of the steel inner cylinder. The steel inner cylinder is made of sulfuric acid resistant and corrosion-resistant steel plate. When designing and calculating the steel inner cylinder structure, a 2mm thickness of corrosion allowance is reserved.
A 60mm thick corrosion-resistant concrete anti-corrosion layer is poured on the inner surface of the steel inner cylinder. The bonding material for the concrete anti-corrosion layer is potassium silicon mortar, and the concrete anti-corrosion layer is equipped with steel mesh and anchored to the steel inner cylinder. The schematic diagram of the steel inner cylinder is as follows.
4) Engineering application
The # 1 and # 2 (600MW) units of Beilun Port Power Plant in China (without desulfurization) use acid resistant and heat-resistant materials, while the newly built 600MW unit (desulfurization) of Hancheng Second Power Plant uses potassium water glass acid resistant mortar layer with ceramic acid resistant plates attached inside. This type of corrosion-resistant chimney is commonly used in Japanese steel chimneys with and without towers.
According to the requirements of the 11th Five Year Plan, by 2010, the national emissions of major pollutants should be reduced by 10% compared to the end of the 15th Five Year Plan, and the corresponding total SO2 emissions need to be reduced by more than 10%. In order to achieve this goal, coal-fired power units in China must be equipped with flue gas desulfurization facilities. At present, limestone and gypsum desulfurization technologies are basically used for desulfurization of coal-fired units in China. Due to the fact that the carrier of this technology is water and limestone, the flue gas temperature is reduced by about 45 degrees Celsius after desulfurization, and it contains a large amount of water vapor and SO2, which forms condensed water inside the flue and chimney. The main components of condensed ice are H2SO4, HC1, and other corrosive gas liquids, which corrode the chimney and flue. Therefore, the anti-corrosion of the chimney and chimney of coal-fired units after desulfurization is a top priority that needs to be solved.
Corrosion is a serious problem in FGD systems, and it is also a difficult problem that must be solved for chimneys and chimneys. Currently, the world and China mainly use four types of anti-corrosion materials for chimneys and chimneys
(1) Chimney anti-corrosion material - fiberglass; (FRP)
① Due to the chemical corrosion of fiberglass and its lower cost compared to high nickel alloys, many wet flue gas desulfurization systems have achieved good results using fiberglass. According to foreign data, fiberglass has been successfully applied in the following aspects of wet flue gas desulfurization systems: absorption tower body, lime dissolution tank, collector, defogger, slurry conveying pipeline, flue gas duct, chimney
② Due to the smooth inner surface of fiberglass, it is not easy to accumulate dirt and is wear-resistant and acid resistant So in areas with high flow rates and high particle concentrations, there is usually a better effect
The commonly used anti-corrosion materials for fiberglass series in the domestic market include epoxy resin and modified OM special anti-corrosion coatings
(2) Chimney anti-corrosion material - rubber
Common products in the domestic market include silicone rubber and polyurea But this product is not resistant to high temperatures and has waterproof and acid resistant properties, which is not conducive to long-term direct discharge of coal-fired units
(3) Chimney anti-corrosion material - glass phosphate sheet
As the main filling material of glass flake is SiO2, its temperature resistance and acid resistance * are common in the market: foam glass brick and glass flake
(4) Chimney anti-corrosion material - acid resistant adhesive mud
① Purpose:
Used for anti-corrosion of acid resistant brick inner chimney lining in wet desulfurization. The coating has good temperature resistance and acid resistance, strong adhesion, and a long service life (more than 20 years). It can withstand the scouring of high and low temperature flue gas and the effects of rapid heating and cooling conditions. It is a coating material for anti-corrosion of chimney lining after wet flue gas desulfurization.
② Characteristics
KY2 acid resistant adhesive coating is made from high-quality high silica powder, dispersants, fixatives, and fine particles, scientifically formulated in a certain proportion. It has the following excellent characteristics: excellent resistance to chemical media, resistance to high temperature and wet corrosive gases; Extremely low water vapor permeability, low hardening shrinkage rate, and low coefficient of linear expansion; Capable of withstanding the scouring and rapid heating and cooling conditions of high and low temperature flue gas; Wear resistance; Good adhesion; Room temperature hardening, simple molding construction, and easy repair.

As an important anti-corrosion material, glass scales have gained a significant reputation in industrial manufacturing and are widely used around the world. They have also demonstrated excellent performance in anti-corrosion coatings. This is what we call glass flakes. Glass flakes have been popular abroad for a long time, so the production process is also very skilled. However, it was only introduced in China in the past decade, so the production and application of glass flakes are not yet very mature. Nevertheless, glass flakes still occupy an important position in the field of anti-corrosion materials. Next, let me briefly talk about the special anti-corrosion effects of glass flakes.
Glass flakes are a corrosion-resistant resin material and an inorganic material. Their composition and structure determine that Berlin flakes are much more effective than other anti-corrosion materials. The composition and structure of glass flakes are distributed like fish scales, like armor, which can divide the corrosive medium into fragments. This can effectively reduce the erosion of the corrosive medium, greatly prolong the penetration time of the medium, and also improve the anti penetration ability and service life of the coating.
From the above analysis, it can be seen that glass flakes are the most important anti-corrosion material in terms of both properties and capabilities.
Glass flakes are important raw materials for the production of heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, pearlescent pigments, and plastic products. When applied in the field of anti-corrosion, they can significantly improve the anti-corrosion performance of coatings and extend the service life of objects; Used to manufacture pearl pigments, glass flake pearl pigments have a much higher glossiness than natural mica and artificially synthesized mica pearl pigments, and also have anti-corrosion and UV protection functions; Used in the field of plastics, it can increase the strength of plastic products, prevent thermal deformation of precision components made of thermoplastic, and improve their spatial stability.
1. Glass flakes can prevent the erosion of substrate materials by water vapor and chemical solvents. The degree of chemical resistance of the substrate or coating varies depending on the selected glass raw material, and glass flakes composed of C-glass have excellent chemical durability.
2. Due to its relatively large elongation coefficient compared to base materials such as steel and cement, the resin layer is prone to cracking and peeling under thermal shock, while glass flakes can form a thermally stable layer, thus preventing substrate cracking and peeling.
3. Good temperature resistance. The use of glass flake lining can increase its heat resistance by 20-40 ℃ compared to similar resin coatings, and is therefore commonly used in oil pipelines, hot water pipelines, heat-resistant chemical equipment, etc.
4. The coefficient of thermal expansion is small.
5. Coatings containing glass flakes are much harder than epoxy or polyester resin layers without glass flakes, thus having higher surface wear resistance.
6. Good compatibility performance, can be combined with various resins to form anti-corrosion coatings
