Candle filter cloth is a cylindrical filter material that is fitted onto the framework of a candle filter element. Candle filter cloth, also known as seamless filter cartridge, is mainly made of woven fibers through textile processing, so it is also called machine woven fabric. In most cases, weaving is completed using a belt loom. Candle filter cloth may seem similar to ordinary shirt cloth, but in fact, the processing requirements and methods for filtering filter cloth are different. Firstly, the selection of silk, which is then twisted into a thread. Then load the thread onto the weaving machine and adjust it to the desired interweaving method to process it into a mesh structure of warp and weft interweaving. This is the raw fabric made of filter cloth, which is then cleaned, leveled, shaped at high temperature, and pressed (if necessary). After cutting with a high-temperature cutter according to our required length, the finished product is the filter cloth I need.
1、 Classification of candle filter cloth
1. Classified by filamentous type
Monofilament filter cloth, monofilament filter cloth is a filter cloth made by interweaving warp and weft threads with monofilaments. Monofilament filter cloth is a filter cloth made by interweaving warp and weft threads with multifilament threads, and multifilament (full multifilament) filter cloth is made by interweaving warp and weft threads with multifilament threads.
2. Classify by material
There are polypropylene (PP), polyester (polyester), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), nylon, and fat free cotton (aramid)
3. Classify by interweaving pattern
There are plain weave (straight weave), diagonal weave, and satin weave.

(1) The relationship and influence of candle filter cloth selection and solid particle distribution
The size of solid particles (normal distribution or quasi normal distribution) directly affects the air permeability of candle filter cloth. Under normal circumstances, there is a proportional relationship, that is, the larger the particles, the greater the candle filter cloth's air permeability.
(2) The relationship and influence of candle filter cloth selection and material viscosity (kinematic viscosity)
Under normal circumstances, the higher the viscosity under the same particle distribution, the greater the air permeability of the filter cloth that can be selected, which is proportional.
(3) The relationship between the selection of candle filter cloth and the adhesion ability of filter cake
The adhesion ability of the filter cake is closely related to the interweaving method and silk adhesion state of the filter cloth. Improper selection can lead to poor adhesion performance of the filter cake.
(4) The relationship between candle filter cloth selection and cake stripping performance
The peeling performance of the filter cake after drying determines whether it can be smoothly peeled off and regenerated, so the fineness and interweaving type of the filter cloth must be determined according to the material properties.
