Installation of additional devices

(1) In order to ensure that the instrument is not corroded by the measured medium or affected by high viscosity or crystallization, isolation devices should be installed;

(2) To ensure that the instrument is not affected by rapid changes or pulsating pressure of the measured medium, a buffer is installed. Especially during sudden increases and decreases in pressure, it is easy for pressure instruments to be damaged or scrapped, and even for spring tubes to crack and leak;

(3) In order to ensure that the instrument is not affected by vibration, pressure instruments should be equipped with vibration reduction devices and fixing devices;

(4) In order to ensure that the instrument is not affected by the high temperature of the measured medium, a liquid filled bend tube device should be installed;

(5) Special instruments are strictly prohibited from being used for other purposes, and measurements must not be made without special and reliable devices. It is even more strictly forbidden to use general pressure gauges for pressure measurement of special media;

(6) For newly purchased pressure detection instruments, they must undergo metrological calibration before installation and use to prevent vibration, damage, or other factors that may compromise their accuracy during transportation.

1. Prevent pressure transmitters from coming into contact with corrosive or overheated media;

2. Prevent sediment from depositing in the conduit;

When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure tap should be opened on the side of the process pipeline to avoid sedimentation and slag accumulation;

When measuring gas pressure, the pressure tap should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the pressure transmitter should also be installed at the upper part of the process pipeline, so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process pipeline;

5. The pressure conduit should be installed in a location with minimal temperature fluctuations;

When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, a condenser such as a buffer tube (coil) should be connected, and the operating temperature of the transmitter should not exceed the limit;

When freezing occurs in winter, transmitters installed outdoors must take anti freezing measures to avoid sensor loss caused by the expansion of liquid volume in the pressure inlet due to freezing;

When measuring liquid pressure, the installation position of the pressure transmitter should avoid the impact of the liquid (water hammer phenomenon) to prevent overpressure damage to the pressure transmitter;

9. When wiring, thread the cable through a waterproof joint or flexible tube and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rainwater or other substances from leaking into the transmitter housing through the cable.
