Basic principle: Under the control of a microcomputer, a water sample is mixed with potassium permanganate solution and concentrated sulfuric acid, and silver sulfate is added as a catalyst. The sulfuric acid carries chloride ions in the chelating solution. After a certain period of reflux at 165 ℃, the reducing substances in the water react with the oxidant, and Cr6+in the oxidant is reduced to Cr3+. At this point, the color of the mixture changes. The increase in Cr3+is converted into a voltage change through photoelectric colorimetry, and the COD value is calculated by measuring the voltage curve of the change.
Typical Applications
Suitable for online monitoring of COD, ammonia, TP, and TN in textile printing and dyeing, petrochemical, coking, meat processing, fertilizer industry wastewater and surface water, providing modern technological means for environmental management departments to achieve online monitoring of pollutants and total emission control.
