This medium is used for the isolation and identification of resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

1、 Components

agar 15.0g/L

peptone﹑Yeast extract and salt 65.0g/L

pigment 2.5g/L

pH 6.9±0.2

Classic formulas can be adjusted or supplemented as needed.

2、 Operation

1Take the dry powder from the bottle, each8.25 gdissolve in100mlIn distilled water or pure water, it can be expanded or reduced in proportion as needed.

2Slowly pour the above dry powder into distilled water and stir thoroughly to dissolve.

3Heat up to100℃ and stir continuously as usual. If a pressure cooker is used, no pressure is required and the heating cannot exceed100℃. The mixture can also be heated in the microwave oven by this method.
