The appearance of this series of resistance furnaces is rectangular, and the furnace shell is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel plate folded and welded. The workshop is made of high-quality silicon carbide refractory material, and high-quality insulation material is used as the insulation layer between the furnace chamber and the furnace shell In order to reduce heat loss at the furnace mouth and improve the uniformity of temperature inside the furnace, a high-quality refractory material made heat shield plate is installed on the inside of the furnace door

The automatic control system for measuring, indicating, and adjusting the temperature inside the furnace is completed by the XMT series temperature controller The instrument is equipped with a thermocouple breaking protection device, which can automatically cut off the power supply when the temperature measuring thermocouple breaks during the heating process to ensure the safety of the electric furnace and the processed workpiece

Installation and Usage

1. Electric furnaces do not require special installation, they only need to be placed flat on the indoor floor or platform. The controller should be placed on the workbench, and the inclination of the workbench should not exceed 5 degrees The distance between the controller and the electric furnace shall not be less than 0.5 meters The controller should not be placed on top of the electric furnace to avoid affecting its normal operation

2. The load capacity of the power lines, switches, and fuses connected to the controller and electric furnace should be slightly greater than the rated power of the electric furnace

3. When wiring, first loosen the screws on both sides of the controller housing, then flip the cover up and connect the power cord as shown in the diagram The connection between the controller and the electric furnace, as well as the thermocouple connection wire (preferably using compensating wires) Insert the thermocouple into the furnace through the small hole of the thermocouple holder, block the gap between the hole and the thermocouple with asbestos rope, and then fix it (Note: The phase to neutral of the power supply cannot be reversed. For operational safety, both the controller and the electric furnace must be reliably grounded.)

4. After checking the wiring is correct, the power can be turned on. First, turn on the power switch, then turn the toggle switch on the controller panel to the open position, adjust the setting button, and set the temperature to the desired degree. If the setting switch is turned to the measurement position, the red light will turn off (NO), and there will be a contactor closing sound. The electric furnace will be powered on, and the ammeter will indicate the heating current value. The temperature will gradually increase with the temperature inside the furnace, indicating normal operation

When the temperature rises to the set required temperature, the red light goes out (NO), the green light is on (YES), the electric furnace automatically shuts off, and the heating stops Later, when the temperature inside the furnace slightly drops, the green light goes out, the red light comes on, and the electric furnace automatically turns on again Repeat the cycle to achieve automatic control of the temperature inside the furnace

5. To check if the thermocouple protection device is working properly, the method is to release one end of the thermocouple. At this time, the temperature measurement indicator quickly rises to a high point and automatically cuts off the heating power supply. If the thermocouple is in good condition and reconnected, it can work normally

6. Oven drying must be carried out when the electric furnace is used again after being used or stopped The process is as follows:

When the room temperature reaches 200 ℃ for 4 hours (open the furnace door to allow water vapor to dissipate)

When the temperature is between 200 ℃ and 600 ℃ for 4 hours (with the furnace door closed)

When 600 ℃ to 800 ℃ for 2 hours (with the furnace door closed)

7. After use, first turn the toggle switch on the control panel to the off position, and then cut off the main power switch

Repair and maintenance

1. The controller should be placed in a well ventilated area without corrosive gases, with a working environment temperature of -10-50 ℃ and a relative humidity not exceeding 85%

2. To ensure accurate measurement, a DC potentiometer should be used annually to calibrate the temperature gauge of the XMT temperature controller to avoid significant errors

3. Regularly check whether the wiring of each part is loose and whether the contacts of the AC contactor are in good condition Malfunctions should be promptly repaired

4. Users can follow the above operating procedures. If the product quality cannot work properly, free repair and replacement of spare parts will be provided within one year until the product is replaced. However, without verifying the quality principles through production, users are not allowed to disassemble and assemble on their own, otherwise they will be responsible for all maintenance costs.
