The QMR animal body fat quantification analyzer and nuclear magnetic resonance fat content analyzer are desktop nuclear magnetic resonance analyzers based on the principle of nuclear magnetic resonance. This technology distinguishes body composition signals with different relaxation rates, enabling rapid quantitative measurement of body composition (fat mass, muscle tissue content, free water volume, and whole body water volume) in live animals. It can measure dozens of animals ranging from as small as 2 mg fruit flies, organs, mice, rats, birds, to humans. Compared with other methods, nuclear magnetic resonance body composition analysis has a faster measurement speed (only 0.5-3.0 minutes) and does not require further analysis
