SS175M (Medium Range) is a single beam Chirp sonar produced by AirMar in the United States, which can measure water depth and temperature in a through cabin installation. SS75M operates in the frequency range of 85-135 kHz with a power of 1000W. The Chirp sensor can detect bottoms as low as 3000 meters (10000 '), with details and resolution 5 to 10 times higher than ordinary depth sonar, thus accurately distinguishing bait fish, game fish, and underwater structures.
