The AB932-10 winding to ground impulse voltage tester is suitable for insulation testing of windings to ground in small and medium-sized motors and DC motors with rated voltage below 380V. It can also be used for insulation testing of transformer windings and electrical coil windings to ground. The electrical components that make up motors, power tools, transformers, etc. are mainly the coil windings. Due to the lack of insulation materials for the coils, especially the differences in operator craftsmanship, various coil products can cause varying degrees of insulation damage during production and handling, resulting in various forms of insulation faults between the winding coils and the shell. These weak links have little significant change in the distributed capacitance of the coils or windings to the shell before they are penetrated or damaged under certain conditions, and cannot be identified using conventional methods, which poses a hidden fault for such coils. Therefore, ground insulation performance is a key indicator for outdoor motors, transformers, etc. According to the relevant standards of GB3111.1, JB/T16927.1, and JB/T10098-2000 in China, this equipment is manufactured to generate standard lightning impulse waves and conduct insulation impulse tests on the ground.
