A 1um/1550nm wavelength/repetition rate/pulse width tunable picosecond laser is different from traditional mode locking techniques that achieve picosecond laser pulse output. The picosecond pulse generated by picosecond pulse gating technology can adjust the wavelength, pulse width, and repetition rate simultaneously, allowing users to flexibly manage the energy applied to materials. Therefore, it has * advantages in biological microscopy imaging, especially in other applications of laser material interactions.

---Adjustable wavelength, repetition rate, and pulse width
Unlike traditional mode locking techniques that achieve picosecond laser pulse output, picosecond pulse gating technology generates picosecond pulses with adjustable wavelength, pulse width, and repetition rate. Users can flexibly manage the energy acting on materials, making it highly advantageous in biological microscopy imaging, especially in other applications of laser material interactions.
Picosecond pulse gating technology is based on continuous laser for light intensity modulation. Its repetition rate and pulse width no longer depend on cavity length and wavelength width, but are controlled by external electrical signals. Its pulse width can be adjusted from tens of picoseconds to nanoseconds; The repetition rate can be adjusted to the GHz level.
The laser pulses can be synchronized to external RF signals or other lasers.
