High water base packing is commonly known as "ramie fiber packing", which is made of high-quality ramie fiber, fully soaked in tetrafluoro lotion or special lubricating oil, and is also called "ramie fiber packing". This product is suitable for use in seawater and fresh water with high sediment content, and has the characteristics of good flexibility, good rebound and self-lubricating properties, low wear, and long service life.
High water-based packing rings, also known as sealing fillers, are usually woven from relatively soft linear materials and filled into the sealing chamber with square shaped strips to complete the sealing process. Packing sealing has long been used to prevent liquid flow by inserting fibers such as cotton and linen into the leakage channel, and is mainly used as a shaft seal for water lifting machinery. Due to the wide origin, easy processing, high price, reliable sealing, and complex operation of fillers, they have been used to this day. Initially, high water-based packing rings were widely used for shaft seals in centrifugal pumps, compressors, vacuum pumps, mixers, and ship propellers, reciprocating seals in piston pumps, reciprocating compressors, refrigeration machines, and rotary seals for various valve stems. Packing seal structure and principle: Packing seal structure is rarely used. Packing seal is installed in packing box 1 by packing 2, and the packing is compressed on the outer surface of the shaft by packing cover 3. Because the outer surface of the shaft is always rough, it can only be partially adhered to the packing, and the parts are not in contact, forming countless mazes. When the pressurized medium passes through the outer surface of the shaft, the medium is repeatedly throttled, relying on this' maze effect 'to reach the seal. The adhesion and friction between the packing and the outer surface of the shaft are similar to sliding bearings, and there should be sufficient liquid to smooth them out, in order to ensure that the seal has a certain lifespan, which is called the 'bearing effect'. From this, it can be seen that the good packing sealing of high water-based packing rings is a combination of labyrinth effect and bearing effect. The compression force of the packing on the shaft occurs by tightening the gland bolts. Because the filler is an elastoplastic material, when subjected to axial compression, frictional force occurs, causing the compression force to gradually decrease along the axial direction. At the same time, the radial compression force that occurs makes the filler tightly adhere to the outer surface of the shaft, preventing the medium from leaking out. The distribution of radial compression force increases sharply from the outer end (cover) to the inner end, and then becomes steeper. The distribution of medium pressure gradually increases from the inner end to the outer end. When the medium pressure at the outer end is zero, little is revealed, and when it is greater than zero, more is revealed.

High water base packing can be divided into white high water base packing and black high water base packing. White high water base packing is made of high-quality ramie yarn treated with tetrafluoro lotion. In the square spinning process, the special tetrafluoro lotion with lighter color and barrier agent are fully dipped again, and then soaked in silicone oil, which will not pollute the product Less maintenance, easy installation, and will not cause wear on the pump shaft or valve stem
The oil-bearing packing PTFE packing is made of pure polytetrafluoroethylene fiber and is not treated with PTFE lotion and lubricating grease. Due to its solid weaving, it has flexibility and adjustability, so it can fit well with the shaft and packing box. It has excellent corrosion resistance, good self-lubricating properties, and anti sticking properties. Can be used in non polluting operation sites such as chemical, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking, chemical fiber, and fine chemical industries.
Polytetrafluoroethylene woven (impregnated) packing is made of F4 raw material tape through weaving (impregnation) shaping, which has good chemical stability and self-lubricating performance. Its strength remains unchanged in high temperature and humid environments, and it is easy to install, fill and remove.
