According to CCTV News, on March 25th, the 307000 ton new generation ultra large oil tanker "Junwang" built by CSSC Dalian Shipbuilding was successfully delivered.

It is reported that this is a new generation of ultra large oil tanker independently developed and designed by China, with a length of about 333 meters and a width of 60 meters. It adopts new technologies such as 6-cylinder main engine and installation of exhaust gas desulfurization device, which significantly improves the comprehensive energy-saving effect and environmental protection level of the ship.

Bi Hongkun, the project manager of China Shipbuilding Corporation Dalian Shipbuilding, said that with a deck area of over 18000 square meters and a height of nearly 20 floors from the bottom to the cockpit, it is truly a "giant".

We have completed the integrated design of high-efficiency propellers, energy-saving devices in front of the propellers, and vortex dissipating fins, with performance indicators reaching world-class levels.

Bi Hongkun said that the technology of China's ultra large oil tankers is still constantly iterating, and in the future, new green fuels and third-generation sail technology will be adopted to meet the latest international environmental requirements.
