mechb2bIndustry NewsThe first heavy-duty humanoid robot equipped with CATL batteries is on duty

Recently, CATL and Galaxy General Robot officially signed a global strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties will focus on upgrading smart production lines, promoting the expansion and large-scale application of embodied intelligent robots in the global market, and jointly developing the world's first embodied intelligent aftermarket service standard.
  01
50kg heavy-duty, specializing in "dirty and tiring work" on production lines
The focus of this collaboration is Galabot S1, a heavy-duty humanoid robot developed by Galaxy General Motors. It is the world's first embodied intelligent normal operation robot equipped with CATL batteries.

Hardcore indicators: capable of carrying a weight of 50 kilograms with both arms, precise positioning at the centimeter level with pure vision, and 360 ° omnidirectional obstacle avoidance ability. At the same time, CATL's battery cells adopt particle grading technology for positive electrodes, low lithium consumption anodes, and biomimetic self-healing electrolytes. The failure rate of the battery cells reaches the PPB (one billionth) level, which can ensure the robot's 8-hour long endurance and ensure the long life and high safety of production line operations.
Application process: Galbot S1 has officially entered the Ningde Times intelligent production line, undertaking long-distance autonomous operations in module and battery pack production. This will directly replace manual labor in high-intensity processes such as material handling and picking, effectively reducing the labor intensity of frontline employees.
  02
Incorporate robots into a mature after-sales system
Ningde Times Ningjia Service's mature service system for battery testing, maintenance, and recycling will officially extend its coverage from "power batteries" and "energy storage systems" to "embodied intelligent robots". Both parties will also establish the world's first embodied intelligent aftermarket service standard through this.
