On January 7, 2026, the 2026 National Digital Packaging Industry Innovation and Development Conference with the theme of "Green Packaging, Digital Drive, and Industrial Collaboration" was held in Harbin. The conference was hosted by the Heilongjiang Packaging Federation and Huawei (Chaoyang) Digital Human Application Innovation Center, bringing together various forces such as the government, associations, enterprises, and research institutions to explore the deep integration of digital packaging technology innovation, green food industry upgrading, and rural revitalization.
Li Hua, President of the China Packaging Federation, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a speech. Li Hua pointed out that the packaging industry is in a critical period of digital transformation, and digital packaging technology has not only reshaped the "coat" of products, but also become an important bridge connecting industry, culture, and consumption. In the future, digital transformation should be the core focus to promote the packaging industry towards green, intelligent, and high-end development. Li Hua also systematically introduced the core ideas of the "15th Five Year Plan" development plan for the packaging industry being formulated by the China Packaging Federation (hereinafter referred to as "China Packaging Federation"). He pointed out that the "15th Five Year Plan" period will be a key five years for the packaging industry to achieve quality, efficiency, and power changes. He called on the whole industry to gather consensus, strengthen collaboration, and jointly shape new development momentum.
At the meeting, Zhu Jing, Deputy Secretary General of China Packaging Federation, also provided an in-depth interpretation of the Federation's recently released "Implementation Plan for Digital Transformation of the Packaging Industry", detailing the main objectives, key tasks, safeguard measures, and typical scenario list of the implementation plan.
The Heilongjiang Packaging Federation has released the "Action Plan for High Quality Innovation and Development of the Packaging Industry in Heilongjiang Province (2026-2030)", which clarifies the development goals, key tasks, and guarantee measures for the transformation of the packaging industry in Heilongjiang Province towards "digitalization, greening, and high-end" in the next five years.
At the conference, China Packaging Federation and Huawei (Chaoyang) Digital Human Application Innovation Center jointly signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement for China Digital Packaging Joint Construction Large Model Project", and the two sides will jointly explore a new territory in the field of digital packaging applications nationwide through deep cooperation.
