Recently, there was great news from the site of Sinopec Tianjin Nangang Ethylene Project: the 50000 tons/year POE (polyolefin elastomer) unit independently developed by Dalian Rubber&Plastic Co., Ltd. was successfully started in one operation. The operating parameters of the unit were stable, the equipment conditions were stable, and the production load fully met the standards. The produced product particles were uniform and regular, without coking or agglomeration, and the product quality was stable and excellent. The first qualified product of the vehicle has been successfully delivered, fully meeting the industrial production standards, marking the official entry of China's fully localized solution POE industrial device into the market-oriented stage.

significant importance
POE is known as the "industrial gold" and plays a key role in multiple strategic emerging industries such as photovoltaics and new energy vehicles. The production process of this material is complex, with high precision requirements for production equipment control, complicated interlocking structures, and difficult installation and debugging. For a long time, due to high technical barriers, domestic production equipment has been highly dependent on imports, and the independent controllability of the industrial and supply chains is insufficient, severely limiting the development of the industry. The 100000 tons/year POE industrial plant for ethylene in Tianjin Nangang, as a key project in China's petrochemical science, technology, industry, finance and innovation battle, started construction in April 2024 and has been put into operation with high quality. It has important strategic significance for breaking foreign technology monopolies, promoting the localization of high-end new materials in China, and ensuring the safety of the national industrial chain.

Technology R&D
To overcome this core equipment challenge, the Big Rubber Technology Team closely monitors the entire process of equipment development and adopts a technical path that combines theoretical calculation, simulation, and experimental verification to carry out special research and development. The independently developed technologies such as feeding control, underwater particle cutting, particle post-treatment, and unit temperature control have reached the leading level in China

Significantly improve the stability of the feeding process, particle forming morphology, and temperature control accuracy, and enhance the quality of the finished product. Through multiple technological innovations, the localization rate of equipment has reached 99%, completely breaking the long-term technological monopoly of foreign countries. At the same time, it can adapt to the production needs of various POE material grades
The smooth completion of the entire production process of the first production line and the offline production of products marks a key leap in China's POE products from samples, products to industry, which will effectively alleviate the supply pressure of high-end polyolefins in the country. Next, Da Rubber will fully cooperate with customers to optimize process conditions, fine tune device operation, and orderly promote the production of the second production line. We will make every effort to achieve stable operation under high load on both lines, continuously enrich the product brand matrix for customers, and contribute greater strength to achieving the self-reliance and self-improvement of China's high-end new materials and ensuring the safety of the national industrial chain.
