On December 9, 2008, Hagen Markus, an expert from Germanischer Lloyd, visited our laboratory to conduct functional tests on the 15PPM bilge oil and sewage separators of YWC-1.0 and YWC-4.0 models, in order to verify whether the bilge oil and sewage separators could meet the requirements of IMO MEP107 (49) resolution. The test process was conducted under the supervision of Hagen Markus, who never left the laboratory and even had meals there. Every step of the inspection is very careful, personally experienced, reflecting the meticulous and rigorous work style of Germans. During the experiment, very demanding technical questions were constantly raised, and our company's technical director Professor Zhang Baiqi answered them one by one, which was recognized by Hagen Markus.
The experiment lasted for 2 days and ended smoothly on the afternoon of December 10, 2008, with satisfactory results. The success of this experiment still ranks among the top in China's ship pollution prevention industry. This marks the product's entry into the world's developed shipbuilding industry, laying a solid foundation for China's shipbuilding industry and export earnings.
