The rapid moisture analyzer for pulp, designed based on the principle of pyrolysis weight, is a new type of rapid moisture detection instrument. The moisture analyzer measures the weight of the sample while the infrared heating unit and moisture evaporation channel quickly dry the sample. During the drying process, the moisture analyzer continuously measures and displays the percentage of lost moisture in the sample in real time. After the drying program is completed, the final measured moisture content value is locked and displayed.
Compared with the oven heating method, infrared heating can achieve the highest heating power in the shortest possible time, and the sample can be quickly dried at a certain temperature. Its detection results have good consistency with the oven method, are replaceable, and the detection efficiency is much higher than that of the oven method. Generally, the sample can be measured in just a few minutes. The instrument is easy to operate and accurate in testing. The display part uses a red digital tube with clear and visible readings, which can display data such as moisture value, sample initial value, final value, measurement time, temperature initial value, and final value. It also has the function of connecting with computers and printers. Therefore, this moisture meter can be applied to all industries that require rapid determination of moisture, such as pharmaceuticals, grains, seeds, rapeseed, grass, chemicals, tea, food, meat, seeds, graphite, ink, sawdust, sand and gravel, as well as laboratories and production processes in industries such as textiles, agriculture and forestry, papermaking, rubber, plastics, etc.

Coarse adjustment: When starting to heat up, turn the temperature control knob to the maximum position to rapidly increase the temperature. When approaching the desired temperature value of the sample material, rotate the temperature control knob counterclockwise at a constant speed to turn off the infrared light. At this time, the temperature control point should be slightly lower than the set temperature of the sample.
Fine tuning: Fine tune the temperature control knob and observe whether the thermometer reaches the required set temperature. If the temperature setting is reached exactly, turning the temperature control knob counterclockwise will turn off the infrared radiation, and the temperature control point will coincide with the temperature setting point. If the temperature error exceeds ± 2 ℃, the temperature control knob can continue to be adjusted until the set temperature is reached. At this time, the infrared light will produce a repeated phenomenon of turning from bright to dark and from dark to bright, indicating that the temperature controller is automatically controlling the temperature (due to the non-linear characteristics of the controller using semiconductor thermistors, the scale indicated by the temperature control knob is not the temperature reading, and the correct value should be based on the thermometer reading).
The use of the timer: The setting range of the timer is 0-30 minutes, and it can be set according to the time required for the sample material to dry. The engraved line indicated by the timer knob is about 1 minute per grid.
Operation Method
Drying treatment: Under infrared radiation, the moisture adsorbed on the surface of the scale and balance weighing system will also evaporate due to heat, directly affecting the testing accuracy. Therefore, drying treatment must be carried out before measuring moisture, especially in environments with high humidity. Drying treatment can be carried out inside the instrument. Place the scale pan to be used into the heating chamber at the front of the instrument, turn on the infrared light for about 5 minutes, and then turn off the light to cool to room temperature. The position of the scale pan should be conducive to the rapid and sufficient evaporation of water. The scale pan can be placed diagonally on the walls on both sides of the heating chamber, and should not be stacked together. Weighing the sample: Weighing the sample must be carried out at room temperature, and the pulp moisture rapid analyzer can adopt the following two methods:
After drying and cooling the instrument to room temperature, calibrate the zero position with a 10g weight, weigh the sample on the instrument, weigh the sample according to the selected value, and place it on a spare scale or other container for weighing. Weigh the sample according to the selected value and place it in the spare scale or other container.
The quantification of the sample shall be carried out using other scales with an accuracy of not less than 5mg. This sampling method is particularly suitable for continuous testing work in the production process, which can greatly accelerate the testing speed and enable the combination of drying treatment and preheating zeroing work.
Attention: Due toPulp moisture rapid analyzerThe internal balance is a 10g quantitative balance, and the display on the projection screen shows weight loss. The maximum display range is 1g, so the direct weighing range of the balance is 9-10g. When the actual load on the weighing pan is less than 9g, an appropriate amount of balance weight must be added to the weighing pan, otherwise the reading cannot be made. The sum of the sample substance and the weight is equal to 10g (at this time, the displayed value on the projection screen is zero). If the sample loses more than 1g of water after heating and evaporation, and the last engraved line on the projection screen exceeds the reference engraved line and cannot be read, the balance can be closed, and 1g of weight can be added to the weighing plate and the test can continue, and so on. When calculating, the amount of weight added must be included in the moisture content (see the "Reading and Calculation" section for specific methods).
Preheating adjustment: Due to one end of the balance beam working under infrared radiation, it expands and elongates when heated, changing the equilibrium torque at room temperature and causing a drift of 2-5 divisions in the zero position of the balance. Therefore, it is necessary to calibrate the zero position of the balance under heating conditions. The best way to eliminate this error is to add a 10g weight to the weighing plate, leave the sample in the weighing plate, turn on the balance and infrared light for about 20 minutes, and then calibrate the zero position when the engraved line on the projection screen no longer moves. The zero position after preheating correction cannot be arbitrarily corrected during continuous testing. If there is suspicion, it should be rechecked and corrected according to the above method.
