This water quality odor substance database has officially entered the product sequence of Shimadzu and is available for sale nationwide.

110 types of water quality odor databaseFeatures and advantages

The water quality odor database combines the odor types that have frequently appeared in drinking water in China in recent years, selecting sources from microorganisms, domestic pollution, industrial chemical pollution, etc110 odor inducing substances were studied as target substances, and 5 internal standard compounds for correcting calibration curves were determined. A gas chromatography tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) qualitative and quantitative analysis database was established.

This database contains target odor compounds and internal standard compounds for analysisThe instrument conditions required for GC-MS/MS analysis (gas phase conditions and mass spectrometry conditions) include retention index, retention time, selection of ion monitoring mode (SIM) ion information, multi reaction monitoring mode (MRM) ion pair information, and calibration curve equations for each compound in both modes.

Even in the absence of analytical methods and odor substance standards, this system can help analysts quickly perform qualitative and semi quantitative analysis of odor compounds in environmental samples.
